Bitcoin is scarce and in a few years, there will be lesser Bitcoin that can be mined, not to mention the demand for it increases as more and more people become aware of it. We are still in the early phase of mass adaptation, institutions are starting to accumulate bitcoin and as time goes by more and more institutions and companies will hope-in. It could be the best long-term investment one can make.

The best time is when we high lower lows in 2018 and 2019, which is around $3000'ish.

But if we go on your argument that we are going to hold in the next 10 years then yeah, possible, as you as you have a tough mentality to hold in that span of time. Anyhow, I'm basing on my experience, I have stocks that I hold for more than 10 years so it's doable. The only thing that might sway people though is that crypto is very unstable and risky because of it's volatility.

Taking risk today will be fruitful someday. Because if you will not take risk, you will not get anything in the future. So you can plant today, whatever it is, big or small, at least you have something to harvest. Who would have thought that bitcoin will be this valuable today? And another 10 years, though we don't know what the future brings, still, I believe, bitcoin is still worth taking risk with.

You have to be careful though, you have to know your tree, will the fruits bore every three years or once in a lifetime. What I mean by that is that we should know when to reap our benefits from investing because just watching the tree grow without tasting the fruit is kind of a worthless effort.

Planting trees for longer time will get bigger reward and the same like bitcoin, if you long bitcoin during 2018 and now you have earn much profit. When bitcoin down lower $4000 on 2018 you have big chance like plating trees, waiting three years later you get big reward with bitcoin above $40,000.      Gotta say, I really do agree with the thought. The thing is though, is that most of the small investors cannot trust that easily last time or the previous years which is why mostly have invested just a few and gained just a few profit. And also the idea of holding for that long is only for rich people since profits won't be that easy to gain and panic selling would be very tempting if you do not have that much extra bucks to begin with. Only those who are brave enough to risk a lot have the right to get big returns. And out of all the crypto enthusiasts in this industry, there are only very few.

For me personally, I don’t mind buying Bitcoin at high price as long my goal is longterm. We already witnessed its significant moves in the past ten years, in next five or ten years it could definitely break a six figure value good for an early retirement.

I have also heard a person trying to invest $1 everyday into Bitcoin for 5 years and he got really big profit today from his daily routine. So, what OP said is actually true.

Anyhow, I'm basing on my experience, I have stocks that I hold for more than 10 years so it's doable. The only thing that might sway people though is that crypto is very unstable and risky because of it's volatility.

I am type of a person who prefer like to consider bitcoin as long term investment. My investment in bitcoin grow about 300% only in 2 years, I don't do day trading or anything else. I just buy bitcoin and leave it in local exchange site, just as simple as that and I become richer now. Saving Bitcoin in exchange site is not recommended. I think buying bitcoin is even easier than planting trees, we need to take care the trees everyday while we can leave bitcoin in our wallet and it still growing.

I don’t know about this ten years ago you have mentioned, for me I think that the opportunity can come at anytime, so you better be looking out for it. It’s just like last year, there was the opportunity for a lot of people to start investing in Bitcoin when the pandemic caused the asset market to drop to a very low prices, but most people never did because they were scared asf and they missed out from an opportunity that would have earned them a huge profit. Hope you are right I cant imagine what will be the value of btc in after 10 years from now I was thinking of holding small amount of btc like 20 usd to 50 usd and will open after 10 years and lets see it it will turn to thousands in a long period of time or will turn into dust.

I think with amount $50 better hold and save with potential coin but have lower price like ethereum or BNB coin, bitcoin is absolutely raise to higher price but with little fund for investing like nothing and our profit just tiny. Better with BNB still $100 and how come next three years later become $1000 and how much profit can you get.
