Donaire and Inoue met up on the ring because they reached the finals of the WBSS event. They successfully defeated their respective opponent and ended up meeting in the finals.

We wont know until seeing it on live but we can actually observe that one in Dasmarinas previous fights if he's really having that tough chin - i havent checked it though.

When it comes to odds then it isnt really surprising that Inoue would be the favorite and as said it isnt really worth to bet on him and instead i do bet on the other side which i do really see that he had some chance.
