Remember that the Philippines Michael Dasmarinas has good records [30-2-1, 20 KO], which going by will pose some threat to his opponent Naoya Inoue, but the facts still remains that this fight won't be as easy as we thought, it is an opportunity for Michael Dasmarinas to show once again that he's a true fighter.
Inoue has a fantastic record too, never lose at the moment (20-0, 17 KO). but statistics are not that important, Dasmarinas inactive since 2019 which will be affecting his performance too. So, before real fighting happens we should watch the simulator of how Dasmarinas take KO Inoue, https://www.sports-fights.com/michael-dasmarinas-vs-naoya-inoue_faca3ca57.html

I was browsing if I can see news relating to this fight, and i saw this one.

https://www.asianboxing.info/asian-news/naoya-inoues-next-bout-likely-to-be-held-in-japan

Quote
Naoya Inoue's next bout "likely to be held in Japan"!

This is a great advantage for the champion if indeed it will be help in his country, I just hope Michael Dasmarinas will give a good fight to him.
If only it's Casimero, I would not worry as his road record is good, lol.

Still yet not finalized,

Inoue-Dasmarinas: Date, Site Of Fight Depends On COVID-19 Restrictions In Japan.

If Japan is not viable, then obviously this should be held in US, still a win-win situation for Inoue. He really needed that exposure to the US market. We all know that he is that good, but if he keeps on fighting on his native Japan, then casual fans won't recognized his name.

Also suited for Michael Dasmarinas, if he can pull an upset here, then he can get some fans in the US.

Quote
“Here’s the problem with Inoue – they want his fight to be in Japan, his next fight to be in Japan,” Arum said. “The problem is, if you’re not from Japan, you can’t get into Japan. There’s a complete lockdown. Even if you’re willing to spend 14 days in quarantine, you can’t get in now. So, to say, ‘Yeah, it’s gonna happen in April,’ who the hell knows? Yeah, we’d love to have him fight in April. But we may have to bring him out of Japan and have him fight someplace else.”

Promotion of course and the awareness from the other country will probably their benefits not only in the country of Japan. I did not know that japan until now is very strict on health protocol like lockdown. However, probably that is in April and there is much to be prepared with this fight or everyone has been already taken the vaccine since it is now applied worldwide.
For Michael Dasmarinas, I dunno if he can able to defeat Inoue at this time. How many of you pick Dasmarinas?

The thing with Japanese fighters, they want to fight in their home soil and they don't care about exposure as Japan can afford to pay fighter just to come to their country to fight, Mayweather circus is a great example.

This could be a problem for Bob Arum as he want Inoue to be popular in Vegas where the money sits as lot of gamblers are there.

In the fight will be held in the US, a neutral ground, this could somehow lessen the advantage of Inoue over Dasmarinas as he is once again out of his comfort zone.

Naoya Inoue will prevail over this fight. This will be a battle which Dasmarinas should prepare with all his focus and determination. He needs no less than a perfect performance in order to finally put an end to Naoya's unblemished record. In fact, I think Michael will have to land a shot that is to be considered a lucky punch that will make Naoya unconscious. Outside of it, I cannot see Naoya being defeated by a highly unknown fighter in the division who has only faced more locals than international opponents.

Much better for Inoue to really fight outside of Japan, he is very talented and he needs to bring that to US to make more money. Yes, Japan has strict protocols because of the covid-19, even the Olympics are being postpone. April might be a good date though, maybe the vaccine will help somehow.

Michael Dasmarinas will be the huge underdog here.

I have seen some of Dasmarinas fights and he has a good potential, he is a developing boxer, young and a good prospect, and Inoue is his biggest test and a test that I don't think he can hurdle, Inoue is just to good, battle tested and only a battle tested boxer like Casimero can keep up with him, this will just another build up fight for Inoue and another trophy to his greatness.
I already know who will win the fight but I like to see if Dasmarinas can show some new things that is different from all the boxers Inoue has fought.

Naoya Inoue really needs to get out of his comfort zone to really test his greatness, and to be his name recognised as one the best bantamweight in recent history. Otherwise he will be stuck like Indonesian's Christ John. So it's better for Arum to promote him state side, although the pandemic really affected everyone including boxers.

Underdog but would really be that capable of taking Inoue down but that wont really be a simple thing to be done yet you know that you've been fighting a monster boxer.  Cheesy

I would like to know on how long Dasmarinas would able to withstand on Inoues hard punches but still im not looking too low with that Filipino boxer yet it might really have something
up into this sleeves.

Checked out on the previous fights of Dasmarinas and this guy isnt really just similar into those underdog boxers. You can really expect something on this one
and might really be worth on taking up some bets.

I do really like to see that Inoue vs Casimero but seems this one will be the first to happen before them.

But Filipino boxers love to be the underdog so I wouldn't be surprise if Dasmarinas works very hard to pull an upset.
I agree with you. There is a small chance that Dasmarinas can pull this off. The influence that this victory will have in his future career will be a major push. The motivation to defeat Inoue is there.

Who knows maybe a miracle might take place. Sure, we won't know until the day of the match but it would be a massive surprise to us all.

Dasmarinas has a good knock out percentage and Inoue's camp should not take this lightly, Inoue is the heavy favorite to win here Dasmarinas biggest task is how to connect it's hard to deal with Inoue's speed, but the most important task taking and ducking those big punches, if he can duck and take the punch without damage and he can connect his big punches then he has a good chance to beat Inoue

Its the question on how Dasmarinas will react if he is hit by Inoue's big punch, can that chin hold up or not? Sooner or later he will definitely be touch by Inoue's power, if he has a good chin then it will be a good fight, if not then it will be an early night for him.

So if he can absorb the punch and himself dishes out some big and powerful left, then maybe, just maybe he will have a chance, although very slim.

I'm not belittling Dasmarinas capability to pull out an upset but Inoue is just to good to get him upset his speed is awesome no boxer has ever catch his speed only Donaire, only a boxer in a stature of Donaire can match his speed and power, Casimero is the only name that I can think of that has a good chance of challenging his speed and power, I hope they meet each other and hopefully this year.

Even though he is not fighting Casimero this time, I think Dasmarinas will be a worthy opponent for him and this man can also do what Casimero does in the ring but of course, he needs some good training and perseverance to beat Inoue and also need to counter that killer body shot which Inoue has. I hope they will release the date soon since both fighters are eager to fight this early quarter of this year so that they will have some more fights after that whatever the outcomes of the fight maybe.

Everyone really wanted a Inoue vs Casimero fight, after all it should had happened if not for the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on Dasmarinas previous fights, he still has the tools, he seems to be more on a body puncher, so he needs to be close just to be able to dig on Inoue's body and see if there is an effect. But in order to do that, he will eat a lot of punch in return so that is a big risk for him. And just like the rest of Filipino boxing fans, I'm expecting a good fight and Dasmarinas throwing everything.

Inoue is not unbeatable, he shown some weakness during the Donaire Flash, I'm sure the camp of Dasmarinas are looking at that weakness and they'll use that on Inoue in the fight. I know it's a tough battle for Dasmarinas, but I believe on the fighting spirit of a Filipino boxers, they don't easily fold.

Inoue is very aggressive, he wants to KO his opponent as early as possible, hopefully Dasmarinas will be more careful here and avoid those heavy punches of Inoue.

Dasmarinas vs Inoue is a prelude to Casimero vs Inoue, as this is a money fight on the lighter division and Bob Arum wanted this to happen with an audience around to generate more profit.

Inoue should do his part here, defeat Dasmarinas and he is in a crossroad to a unification fight with Casimero.

Inoue got a good chin so you are right mate, Dasmarinas need to gamble and slug it out for a chance to land some power punches in the liver.

If Inoue win here, then Casimero will have to fight someone again before we can see the money fight on this weight class. Actually last year they did they share already Inoue winning against Jason Moloney and then Casimero vs Duke Micah. Maybe both parties or at least their respective managers are just delaying the inevitable and try to milk both fighter to hype before they eventually fight. I'm sure Casimero will have one fight this year and perhaps a Inoue vs Casimero will happen in 2022.

Delaying or what, that will be useless if Inoue and Casimero won't win on their respective fight.

Dasmarinas is the underdog in his fight against Inoue but it will be his stepping stone to stardom once he defeats Inoue so he will put everything into this fight and take that as an inspiration. Sometimes, underdogs are more pumped up compare to Favorites because of the big opportunity they will receive once they won on that fight.

You would really be pumped up as an underdog because this would really be a great achievement on beating up a boxer that had been stealing the main spotlight in boxing area.

If Dasmarinas would able to pull this one off then we know on what would be the opportunities that he would might able to get and that would be increase in rankings plus on having those possible
next match ups and popularity would also rise and of course the pay will be tied up into it.

Im not already expecting nor anticipating for Casimero and Inoue fight, maybe we do just need to wait up on when it will be set-up because they do always
have the decisions in the end.No matter how strong the hype is, as long they wont approved nor do give a go signal then it wont surely happen.
