I bought a bitcoin what 0.0003 BTC last year November with only money that left with me when I finished my program and named it investments, many of my friends started laughing that my money has gone and bitcoin will fall and is out of surprised bitcoin moved to 19k, 20k, 30k and 40k, so I'm excited for having double of my btc within some months, I want to know if I will sell it or withdraw it, because is a investment money not for spending.

If you are in a hurry and need money, looking for a short-term peak sale is a good choice. If you are not in a hurry, it may be better to hold for a long time.

I suppose you made a mistake by specifying a few extra zeros ... Simply put, the fees for transferring Bitcoin are almost identical to the amount you specified. It's up to you whether you want to hold or sell it because it's your money.

I think it's not a good choice if you want to sell only 30,000 satoshi because you'll ended up loss on the fee (it's vary but I assume you're using online wallet which is the fees are high)

Better to buy more Bitcoin and hodl it, since you're believing Bitcoin.

No one knows how the price will move especially in the short term, so..

If:

• you're not willing to hold for the long term
• you think bitcoin isn't going to be more expensive in the future
• you're going to need to sell soon for whatever reason(business/bills/hospital expense/etc)
• you think there's a better investment out there

• you think bitcoin will be worth a lot more in the future
• you're willing to hold onto your bitcoin for YEARS
• you don't need the money any time soon

What was doubled is the USD or USDT value, not your bitcoin 0.0003 BTC is 0.0003 BTC, always.

I think you have only two choices: trade or hold it. There is no option for you to withdraw it.

I don't know where you store your bitcoin, in non custodial wallet or on exchanges. If you store it on exchanges, you are in bad situation.

Binance:
- Withdrawal fee: in BTC 0.005 BTC.
- Withdrawal fee: in USDT: $5 on ERC20, $15 on OMNI, $0 on TRC20.

Your amount is smaller than withdrawal fee (in BTC, USDT on ERC20, OMNI). You mostly are out of choice.

No... you have to make that decision on your own... owning the bitcoin is just one part of your journey now. You will notice that I highlighted the you in those statements and I have done that for a good reason. Bitcoin is all about people taking control over their own money and not having centralized financial institutions telling them what to do with their own money. (That includes advice from random people on the Internet ....that are most probably not financial advisors)

That is one of the main reason why newbies in an investment are getting lower profits or losses because they settled on selling at a correction price.

Which is not the proper thing or not the best thing to do in order to make investment profitable.

If you can hold and wait for the best time to sell, you can have much time to think much better decisions and strategies so that you will have no regrets.

Is it 0.003 or 0.0003?  maybe you have mistakenly added another zero with the value you want to tell us, the value of bitcoin last November 2020 os, not that too much so you have done a good thing by buying bitcoin that time and keeps on holding it even though it reaches the first new ATH on the year 2020 and keeps holding it now but if you are asking if this is the good time to sell it then it is up to you if you are already good with the earnings you have now because no one can tell you if the price of bitcoin will go higher or lower in the future.

it counts on the share of money you put in bitcoin in your total wealth. If you need the money, try to sell it at an ATH. Or if it frays your nerves and brings you sleeping trouble, try to sell it at an ATH. Otherwise, HODL

In conclusion, Bitcoin always has hope. We certainly remember the events of 2017-2018 when the bitcoin trend changed rapidly from bullish to bearish. at that time everyone considered bitcoin worthless anymore because of the sharp decline and was considered a dangerous investment. but now? we can see that bitcoin is indeed a valuable investment asset, equivalent to gold.

The strategy depends on you. IMO, if you can then you should invest little by little each month in BTC and HODL on and when the time is right you can sell it off to fulfill your needs(if any). On the other hand, if you do need it then you should have sold it a while back when it reached $40K.

With your investment amount and to what price is now, I don't think you have made more than 0.0006 in profit without your capital. That is with your total money as 0.0009 or a little higher. So you have not made so much profit to exit or run off from losing the little investment you made. IMO I don't think bitcoin price will come down to your entry price and with that "assumption ", your invested money will still be safe with you. I'm therefore suggesting that you can take a further risk of hodling for longer time, you have made the investment already or you put a price you want to exit so that if price go up, you will keep picking profit.

I'd just advice you to just hold it since it seems like you aren't really need it and you're not a trader but a long-term investor. You're at a gain anyway and it seems like Bitcoin has a strong support in its back this 2021, you won't have any problem reaching your entry price level again.

What if we say that you sell it right now and it goes up more will you blame us and vice versa. 0.0003 BTC is still a big investment although it isn't that high but the point is, if you are seeing Bitcoin for long run then why sell?? Do the opposite and do dollar cost averaging. Buy Bitcoin if you believe on it and hold for long term.

Maybe 0.0003 is a large amount of money if OP were to sell it to gain some profit. I wanted to sell at some point, never thought that the 40k was an ephemeral round in the market, but since I have no use for awhile for what I am hodling, I think I will just let it sit there.

To OP, if you are the same as me and does not have any need for your bitcoin for your daily expenses, maybe making it sit there for awhile and let your investment marinate and hopefully the prices might go up again. Follow the quote above, try to add more bitcoin into what you are currently hodling while the prices are still down.

If the money isn't for spending, then whats the need of withdrawing it. Hold it, and you'll get better learning about the market. The price might fall, but there will be promised growth further. Keeping it in mind just go for a long term holding. Based on different predictions from expertise people, even 0.0001BTC will be valued very big in the future.
