I couldn't find any recent threads on these. Doesn't seem like there are many in circulation.

Found a thread that seems to be the inception of this cheque:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80957.0

Does anyone here have any knowledge on how many of these were sold? MJ maybe? Or gredinger you can educate us if you know the answer to that Cheesy

The cheque reads....,  Void if damaged.  It looks like it has had a rough life....

The pic from the internet back then was a big inspiration with me producing PaperSafe Satoshi notes.

Hi OP, looks like you have a real rarity there  Smiley
Is this the cheque that you have in your possession? Just curious as this is the same image that appears in the original sales thread mentioned by Evilish

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80957.0

Any chance you could take a new image with today’s date on it as well as your username ?
Hope this isn’t too much hassle - but it would help your sale I’m sure  Smiley

This is where I originally got the check.

The cheque reads....,  Void if damaged.  It looks like it has had a rough life....

The pic from the internet back then was a big inspiration with me producing PaperSafe Satoshi notes.

It was in my wallet for 5+ years, so that's why the top part of it was kinda ruined a bit. Didn't fit nicely. Also, it was folded in half most of its life. It's pretty terrible condition, but still has the unbroken seal.

Is this the cheque that you have in your possession? Just curious as this is the same image that appears in the original sales thread mentioned by Evilish

Yep, I have it here. New picture:

a quick scan of the address shows it was funded on 05/12/2012 with 1 sat

and so it would also have matching BCH, BSV, BTG, BCD, BCHA and possibly a few others.

too bad the condition is not better.

My offer 0.02 BTC with you sending the item first to your choice of UK, Europe, or the US, I don't mean to be insulting but this will at least give you some price discovery for it around the $1k mark.
