many people thinks that etherium will take the place of bitcoin soon or later. what do you think guys will bitcoin the remain the biggest crypto in 2021?

It's pretty obvious though, the price and the dominance still belongs to BTC so how can Ethereum takes its place? There are predictions that Ethereum can reach as high as $20k base on Metcalfe's law. However, I don't think it will have enough push to overtake bitcoin this year though or in the near future for that matter. Probably one of the dreams of Ethereum fanboys, but it's not gonna happen.

I am pretty sure Bitcoin will still be the leader in 2021.
There is always a possibility that some other cryptocurrency like ETH will take the lead, but that wont be so easy.

Everyone's eyes and ears are focused on bitcoin right now, and only a handful of deep pockets are having some serious relationship with ETH. Bitcoin would still be the king of crypto, no doubt, given the massive reach it has plus the already cemented confidence traditional investors have on the cryptocurrency. Yeah I say yes bitcoin will remain the biggest Cryptocurrency even forever. Bitcoin is the biggest Cryptocurrency in  capitalization and the price of Ethereum and other Altcoin is dependent on the price of bitcoin and so shall it be.

If we are talking this year only, bitcoin will still be the top among these thousands of cryptocurrencies. More than a decade in the making and yes, popularity will not be achieved by other alts for just short period of time. Even noncrypto users already recognize the term bitcoin. But if you try to mention ethereum or doge, they don't know what to say. A lot of people are still not familiar with eth, even it is already in the top 2 position. So for me, definitely bitcoin will still be the biggest this year.

I don't think Ethereum can overtake Bitcoin,infact no other crypto coin can replace bitcoin as it will always remain the most trusted crypto and leader of cryptocurrency as it has proved multiple times that it can overcome any hurdles and whether it's 2021 or any near futur. Ethereum's usability is heavily weighed down by it's slow transaction process and high transaction fees. Until they find a way to solve this issue, it's going to be very hard for Ethereum to beat Bitcoin in the market in terms of price. Especially now that bitcoin has reached 30k which is an awful lot of money of course. So it may not happen anytime soon, but provided that Eth does something about those factors above, they will have a fair chance at bagging the top 1 spot in the future.

I don't think it will happen, bitcoin will still remain the biggest crypto currency in this world. Be it in the side price, marketcap and popularity yeah no matter what will happen. I have ever think like that before especially when bitcoin fee transaction getting high and high.

The fee for ETH was high as well at that time but its developer make new something and upgrade their system and the result the fee is getting low right now. But, something like taht doesn't make ETH is more popular and beaten bitcoin in the larget crypto currency. The people still thinking that bitcoin is more popular and also it always like that if there is someone who just come to crypto currency.

There have been many topics comparing Bitcoin and Ethereum, and whatever advantages that Ethereum has, it can never replace Bitcoin as

Nope, ETH is still very far from dethroning Bitcoin in the top spot. Not only for 2021, but it will goes on forever. These people who thinks Ethereum will take over Bitcoin is delusional. This issue has been going for quite a long time especially during the boom of smart contracts, and now the ETH 2.0. But then again, this won't be enough to dethrone Bitcoin as the mother of all cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin dominates all other cryptocurrency in general aspect.

There isn't any good reason I can find why it wouldn't be. We have seen some crazy pumps lately with Dogecoin and maybe we will continue to see irrational behavior like this. It's hard to predict how those types of situations will affect market cap rankings but under normal circumstances Bitcoin will continue to remain king.

You might have joined an Ethereum based channel.  
I doubt they could just stomp on bitcoin just like that, even in a decade or a couple.
IMO, the balance may go off if Bitcoin will suddenly be in the second place. Who knows how bad the effect will be but it may become an issue of trust.

The idea has a point actually. It is true that bitcoin is somehow far from the etherum as of now but I also believe that it is possible too. Depends on how the market will move alongside with the investors, traders and some people that can affect the value in the marketplace. Yet, I think it is also has a low possibility for the Ethereum to surprass the value of bitcoin as of now. We all know that they are both cryptocurrencies which has a volatile attitude. They are both unpredictable and the value isn't stable. Who knows, we can say that it may not surprass rhe bitcoin but I gues it will always have a possibility or be open to that idea where someday, bitcoin may be replaced in the top.

I don't think the bitcoin cannot changed by any crypto currency. Even if the price will fall, I'm sure that the other currency's price will also fall. This year, bitcoin is still on the top. The reason is some companies or countries are investing their money because of pandemic which is the right choice now to make profit.

Besides that, all cryptocurrency is depending on bitcoin. It's pretty obvious that without bitcoin, there's no other cryptocurrency existing.

Maybe some people speculated that ethereum will replace bitcoin but for me, I think that's far from happening. Bitcoin's value is too far from ethereum's. Bitcoin has been dominating the crypto world for so long already and replacing it from the top would be a very difficult job. Bitcoin might go down a bit this year since its value suddenly pumped up so high last year but I don't think it would reach to the point where it would go near ethereum's value. Bitcoin never stops surprising us so let us put our hopes high on it always.
