when you didn't even know what a cryptocurrency was, dogecoin was funding the jamaican bobsled team for the Sochi 2014 olympic games

If it is just about dogecoin being fast and cheap, we could also use Tron as well, which is not a "joke" coin and it is definitely fast and cheap as well, why would I pick doge for it? Or I can use wave, I can use nano, I can use so many things.

The reason why Doge is cheap and fast is not just because of its tech, it is also because there isn't that much transactions going back and forth like ETH or BTC has, that is the real trouble that causes those things to have high fee, they are not internally screwed just so it would be high, they are in fact working to make it work, the reason why it is not doing that good is the fact that they have so much and doge type coins have so few. In the end doge is still a joke coin, there is nothing wrong with buying it, people can keep buying it if they want to, the problem is that it is not taken seriously and those pumps make it hurt even more in the long term.

This is a reasonable increase for Dogecoin, but if the rumors say Doge will be like Bitcoin it is too over. doge is widely used on gambling sites, because there doge is one of the main ones for transactions

The only dump people will take bitcoin to be the same as bitcoin in the future. Doge is a complete joke coin that can be pumped by the whales anytime. it looks like someone has been pumping doge by buying billions of doge coin. This time the doge fees are rising along with the increase that happened with the doge coin price.
it seems like the price is quite stable at this moment too. I personally will take this as a joke coin and not a serious coin lol

There some users too much assume that dogecoin will be like Bitcoin. Doge has no real use case it may pump because of hype but not too much. People are into ride a train to earn profit but for those noon must be careful in investing in doge coin.

The pump of its price didnt change the fact that DOGE still a meme/ joke coin. The only change is the community right now become wider as many influencer told their followers about DOGE as Crypto Investing tools. IMO, this hype will last for some time until many of them realize that DOGE have no good future if compare to another great crypto projects.

With the recent tweet of Elon Musk about his support on DogeCoin, I still doubt that it will dominate the crypto-space and become the next BTC.

Remember that Dogecoin was created as a MEME coin and no other purpose may derive from that. There was also a recent discussion about Elon Musk being a shill to Dogecoin as there is no other reason on why he chose that coin to invest on. If I were you, you could purchase some Dogecoins but do NOT shift your entire investments to this coin. It is vital that you continue investing in BTC as its price is steadily increasing in the market.

That's right, because previously Dogecoin tokens have never moved as excited as they are now, this is clearly due to the influence of an Elon Musk who started joking through his tweet on his own social media account which resulted in Dogecoin tokens experiencing an increase in price almost ten times from previous prices.

Doge's currency is actually a cryptocurrency. The sudden rise in the price of the Doge currency has come under discussion. People use this coin for a variety of things; Which is one of them for money transfer.

When you can spend some minutes to read the doge coin history and the creator of this coin was creating doge coin as a joke coin and no more. Just because it has a small transaction fees (past) and people consider this one as the future of crypto even some people are loosing their mind caused by they were making this one equivalent with bitcoin. Someone was pumping doge with multi million dollars of money.
This coin can only be used to transfer your money or did micro transaction to the others but it's not happening again.

Doge is Bitcoin alike clone. It is no joke. Its marketing gimmick is to be a joke so it stand out of 10000 similar coins.  But in general dont bring anything new to the table it is just like BTC, so not interesting.

dogecoin will never go much further because everycoin has a company behind and there is no company behind the dogecoin so this is only a meme coin

Maybe when you ask about this it is still a rumor, but soon it becomes real. I also think like you before, even I have bought in bulk, then I resell. It turned out that some of the issues developed were true, but because there were many negative issues, it was difficult to distinguish between what was right and what was wrong.

Yes, that attention that has been given to Dogecoin due to the hyping by Elon is what we don't like from it.

It had made those newbies pushed for Dogecoin instead of bitcoin as a start since they've heard it from Elon. That's the misleading hype that famous guy gave to this coin.
