I was actually excited during that point because I never thought that I will be able to use my GPU for mining the said coin and use my computer to do that. But it turns out, you need a much more powerful system to be able to get the most of mining. One GPU is not enough and the website I checked even recommended using 6 GPUs.

Of course 1 GPU will not be strong, you have to have more capital than that to mine BTG, because BTG is one of the old coins which is quite expensive, so the level of difficulty is also quite high.
If you want to mine BTG, my advice is better wait for BTG to move to PoS, because a lot of coins are now moving to PoS, I didn't hear BTG is moving to PoS, but you can start talking to DEV and consider the idea.

Bitcoin Gold cannot be the next BTC. It should be understood that BTG is an altcoin. In the crypto-asset market, BTG's performance is far behind BTC. Even the BTG network is not as secure as the BTC network. BTG has experienced two 51 percent attacks (51 percent attacks), the first occurred in May 2018 and the second in January 2020.

To be honest, I don't think so, regarding branch coins or fork coins like BTCgold, BCH, etc. Will not be able to balance or replace original coins (BTC). So, if there are other options then it is easy for me personally to choose a new coin even though it is high risk rather than investing in a fork coin. Fork coins aren't that bad like some are saying, bitcoin gold and BCH can still bring good profits soon, their developments are ongoing and never stopped, they are better than some new projects that don't care about development after some successful beginning

BTG has ever attacked by 51% attack. That means this chain is not a safe chain. The chain can be attacked anytime. The fork coin will never be a good coin like the genuine one.

Hard fork coins are not a bad choice in my opinion, like Bitcoin cash, so far the development of bitcoin cash is very good, and every year there is always a network upgrade, but indeed during the last two years there were many conflicts that caused the price to fall.

Not because you don't have the guts, but if you say that Bitcoin Gold can become Bitcoin Next is wrong because BTG is unlikely to replace BTC. You need to know that Bitcoin Gold is a cryptocurrency that was born from a copy of Bitcoin. But that doesn't mean BTG is a bad investment, it's just a high-risk investment. If you dare to take the risk, please invest in BTG because currently the price is still cheap and the possibility of return is high.

This and that will be the next Bitcoin should have stopped now. Where is Bitcoin Cash that many speculated years ago to be the real BTC? We should just give honor to those whom deserve it. BTC will rule forever

Those shillers from BCH already disappeared and the performance of BCH doesn't meet their expectation. I guess there were lots of people have bought BCH at the peak price and they were loosing a lot.
The fork coin is fork coin and bitcoin is not the same with fork coin that already created for the scam purpose only.
This trend must be stopped.
