I just bought brand new parts for a mining rig.

The parts:
- Asrock H100 Pro BTC +
- Intel Pentium G4560
- Corsair 8GB DDR4 2400MHz C16
- LC POWER LC1650 V2.31 - Mining Edition PSU

The system is powering up with the CPU fan spinning, but there is no diplay, no beep and no light in the RGB keybord. (connected with DVI cable to a monitor that has DVI. No adapter present)

- Checked the CPU socket
- Changed RAM slot
- Tested with another monitor
- Tested with another DVI cable
- Tested with the PSU from my gaming rig
- Tested with the GPU from my gaming rig. Tested with both DVI from the mobo and with HDMI and DP from the GPU.
(RGB on the GPU comes on when starting the system)
- Preformed reset with removing the mobo battery and resetting CMOS

I just can get any display signal out of this system.
So now am out of ideas and need some help, please.

I don't think you should go any further than the motherboard. If there no beep, then you have a problem with MBD, CPU or RAM memory.
CPU fan just get some power and run, it is enough and it is not an important criterion.
Reset Bios to default.
Try to turn on without RAM. If it's everything okay with MBD and CPU, you must hear several beeps. If the speaker still no sounds, check CPU. You say that is checked, but how? How you tested CPU?
btw. I guess you have a speaker on your motherboard  Cheesy
Also, you need to check PSU.

I have teste both with and without the RAM stick.

This is the only mobo that has this type of CPU so I have not been able to test it on another mobo. But I have checked the pin's in the CPU socket.

Regarding reset of the Bios, I have removed the battery and reset the CMOS.

Am using a headset, so yes I have checked that there's no beep :-D

I know it can sometimes be such a simple problem but it is overlooked. so just note to check all the details.  Wink
If there no beep without RAM, then two things remain, CPU(10% possibility) or MBD(90%).
have you tried to turn it on without CPU?

Same motherboard here, same trouble but mine is 3 year old  mining 1151LGA.Lol.
Before returning it:
Just because its easy, why not resetting CMOS ? or
Just put a cheap card in the only slot in the motherboard and connect it ?

Think you meant the H110 Pro BTC+.

Make sure you have the correct display selected in the BIOS. Restart the system and I believe the command is F2.

I'm running all my PCIE slots on Gen 1 and using the integrated video card as primary.

Poke around in there it seems like that the default graphics maybe the issue.

You should return the motherboard if this isn't your first time to put motherboard together and start running, I've once bought a bad motherboard with all parts and after testing with extra parts form another pc I find out the motherboard is bad
