BTC price VS gambling

I've stopped playing with bitcoin obviously, because I can't afford to pay for the huge transaction fees for every deposit and withdrawal as well as when playing with bitcou when it's at such a high price, it feels like so many losses at the same time hence I am not playing with bitcoin but other currencies like Tron and Ripple

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Since bitcoin is expensive now I switched to dogecoin to play in gambling websites. Though the price now of it is high because of Elon's hype recently it's still relatively cheap compared to bitcoin. $20 worth of dogecoin is already enough to play many games. I usually gamble not for profit so using this is fine for me. I just want to relieve my stress when gambling. But if I want to have a decent profit from it, I use xrp or ethereum to play.

With how high Bitcoin right now, it's relevant to create this thread as follow up with your last thread, knowing the sentiments of those gamblers who are using bitcoin is really interesting.

Though reading some post above adjsutment are being made by using other alts which really expected since the transaction fess are
killing the pocket of each gambler who will use Bitcoin  as main funds.

Personally, I'm still using Bitcoin since I'm recieving funds from the campaign
that I'm in. But mostly relied with usd value so not really affecting  my gambling
activities.

For me it is the same.I am very happy with the bitcoin price increase as this means I can play many more spins in my preferred slot machines which means effectively increasing my chances to win due to a longer gameplay session.However a certain impact is there when I start losing I immediately quit and withdraw my bitcoin as there is more value to it compared to what it was back in October.

Hi Karl.

Nope.... I am still using Bitcoin. The price only means that we are getting more "Bang" for our Dollars, because most of us have a load of coins that are stashed away in cold storage.    We bought those coins at a much lower price and they are worth considerably more now, so you can play longer with those coins.

The gambler who has to buy now at the new ATH, will suffer.... but if they listened to previous advice to buy low ... they would have been one of us now. 

Do not buy every week... rather save the money in a Bank account and buy when the price is low. Then you enjoy the spoils.. when the price reach a new ATH.

For us who are in crypto, this is something that happens from time to time! Bitcoin price is rising and our bets in BTC suddenly worth a lot more in dollars! I have my limits, it's easy to adjust your deposits to the new situation! So $100 is $100, it's stable, you just need fewer Bitcoins now!
It's nice when the prices are rising and you are winning, but many times happens the prices are going up and we lose! It's gambling we play with what we have and we hope for some big win and big profit!

since the price climb up again to 40k up? i stopped using Bitcoin as Gambling coin instead i change to Tron and Doge since XRP had already delisted in sites that i have been playing.

So yeah this really effect us gamblers when Bitcoin price climbs so high like now.

Actually at first was also my idea about the idea of bitcoin increasing but I think it is not because not all Gambling sites, casino or any site are BTC based so if the price of BTC increase I think some of casinos may increase also the fees per game or somehow. But in the other hand its true that if BTC value increases you can do a lot more bets than the usual. Also, I can say that this market bull thing is a great timing to save up while playing because we must not give all the thing or all the amount we have just because the market rises. Gambling is very exciting and at the same time risky, control your greed always.

I have a very simple rule: I spend the same value in USD on gambling every month. For example, I set myself a gambling limit of 100 USD - that's relatively easy if you see gambling simply as a hobby. Once I reach that goal, I don't gamble anymore that month.

If BTC rises sharply in a month, I simply reach the limit earlier. If it then falls correspondingly later.

Actually the price of bitcoin seems disturbing since there are times that I'm worried about my balances on certain casino if the price dumps when I'm away, But in other thought I think also that its good to gamble since we are gamblers anyway and its good opportunity together with the market volatility since its like hitting 2 possibilities to win on our bets and in the price surge.

I have a very simple rule: I spend the same value in USD on gambling every month. For example, I set myself a gambling limit of 100 USD - that's relatively easy if you see gambling simply as a hobby. Once I reach that goal, I don't gamble anymore that month.

If BTC rises sharply in a month, I simply reach the limit earlier. If it then falls correspondingly later.

Wise rule, which I follow too. In 2014, being so frantic about all things bitcoin I used to make huge bitcoin bets (can't really believe it now!). Now I go for the fiat equivalent, otherwise it is too easy to lose grip and destroy a fortune. Actually I prefer to bet via fiat money only and always keep the btc whenever I can.

That requires discipline for you to follow it, good strategy to limit your gambling activity, but for me honestly, I can't help myself, I gamble regularly, whether with a small amount because it gives me the excitement that I need, you know, the word satisfaction is what I get when I'm betting money on the sports that I love.

I have switch from betting with bitcoin to ustd due to the present value of bitcoin and because we are in the early lead of the bull run.
Infact I have to stop betting on site that accept only bitcoin as deposits and withdrawal. Each santoshi matters now no betting with bitcoin for now.

I agree, it is best to just withdraw all the bitcoins we are using for betting and just hold on to them. If we can make 10-20% return in a week with our Bitcoin, why risk it with gambling right now? Best is to just use our ordinary FIAT currency for gambling and take any profits in bitcoins to save. Bitcoins are so close to 50,000 USD, we all can profit from it.

Looks like you are a Very Disciplined gambler so no wonder how you really managed letting yourself playing with that amount.
I tried this when i'm still active in gambling but always fails me because after losing the amount ? i always look for chances to win back my losses things that brings me more losing.

This attitude will really save gamblers from addiction and from losing too much.

I switched to doge coin as it was the most cheapest coin to gamble with but recently doge coin is also gone to much high  
I will prefer doge/XRP/LTC over bitcoin because they care cheap and also the transaction fee is less if you move funds in and out of gambling sites.

I didn't changed my way of betting. I just kept  doing it with the same bitcoin amounts as a half year ago.

But after the latest pump I went go smaller because it was getting out of hand.

I still have a little balance in some of the gambling sites, but if I lose all of them, I don't know if I would still deposit bitcoin because the price is insanely high and so as the transaction fee.

For me, it's time to save your bitcoin now rather than spending it in gambling, if you have extra money of course you can but always consider bitcoin as the most precious asset that is not good for gambling purposes at this time.

Of course, that is the best decision with the very high fee on deposit and withdrawal it's not a good idea to transact with Bitcoin, and with the pumping going on, Bitcoin is the coin worth keeping and there's no guaranty that you can double your Bitcoin if you try gambling with it your chances of losing it is very high with gambling.

Well the rise in bitcoin’s price hasn’t affected me much because I was still gambling with my bitcoin until a few days back. But I am on a break from gambling right now since I used to spend more time on gambling and focus less on my other activities. To maintain the balance I took a break from gambling to focus on other tasks. Once all my short term goals are achieved I will resume gambling.

One thing I would like to mention is that yes the rise in bitcoin’s price does have an impact on gambling. Rise in bitcoin’s price is directly proportional to rise in withdrawal charges when paired to fiat. This is the only thing that concerned me recently.
