Actually It's very normal that ETH is following btc trend. If ETH a number one altcoin does not follow bitcoin then who will do man?

You cannot compare two strong and promising cryptocurrencies. Ethereum and Bitcoin are very different projects with different goals and different development paths. The problem is that anyone coming new to the market anticipate that ETH would rally just like bitcoin and it was perception majority had in the beginning as there was no major difference between the price when the price of ETH started its initial rally and then bitcoin went to the moon last time around and after that there is no catching back and the network congestion in ETH is the worst part .

Both are great coins but they have different use in crypto space. In terms of which coin should we invest, since both has a great performance. Ethereum showed good progress since last year and bitcoin also made new ATH near reaching $50k now.

I have both of that coin but already sell off all of my ethereum last week. No regrets at all. But as to my bitcoin, Im still holding it until now. Cheers to those long term holders like me who manage to wait up to this moment.
