USER VOD ABUSING TRUST SYSTEM

Hi everyone. I received a negative feedback, but I really do not understand WHY. Admins and DT members please check the reference and please let me know what do you think. I really do not understand what I have done wrong. I started the topic asking why some people are leaving strange negative feedbacks https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5316570. And now received a very strange feedback myself. Thank you in advance.

He should ban him for such behaviour. This is my old account and to boost it a little bit I paid for a copper membership almost $30. And now that idiot ruined my account without any reasons. I do not advise any one to purchase copper membership because it can be ruined any time by such individual as VOD.

If I correctly understood his statements in that posts, he even accused Theymos of running a ponzi in cooperation with OG NASTY.

You have to have patience with vod.

Vod says 10% loss of brain function wasnt a serious loss I suppose.

Ask if the reasoning behind the red tag is inline with what theymos intends to inflict on the forum or not.
Just state the reason dont get specific about vod. ..

If we set a precedent that x can not form the basis for a red tag would that increase the value of red rags and prevent desensitization and dilution of legitmate and  credible and valuable warnings. ?

I mean willful and consistent trust abuse could really be seen as aiding and facilitating scammers to remain unnoticed or taken less seriously as a threat.

Eh, he's left some pretty spot-on feedbacks in the past, and he voluntarily patrolled the Lending section for years, looking for and tagging shady members asking for no-collateral loans and the like.  So most of his feedback is good.  Since he had his stroke, however, he's changed somewhat.  I don't know if anyone else has noticed that or not, but it seems pretty obvious to me (unless there's more going on behind the scenes with him).

Let's await his response if he chooses to give one here.  Hopefully he will, because I'm a bit puzzled by that neg.

He tagged me for a multi merited thread. The feedback says that I am idiot and I am here to destabilize so I can steal and vanish. This sounds like a feedback from a psycho or from an inadequate person who is full of hate. I will wait for explanations and if I will not receive them, I will contact the admin once again and flag VOD. I hope that my flag will get some support. This type of behavior is inexcusable for a DT member. I have no desire of opening a new account and paying another $30 for a cooper membership, because I am not sure that VOD will not ruin it again.

Both of which will get you nowhere. Admins or moderators don't interfere in the trust system and a flag is not appropriate for this either.

Your options are: (1) work it out with Vod - perhaps the rating is a mistake, or (2) campaign to exclude Vod from DT.

As suchmoon pointed out, neither the moderators nor Theymos are going to get involved with this, so your best bet is to work it out with Vod.  I would start by removing the retaliatory feedback you left him, because that's considered abuse (or at least misuse) of the trust system and it doesn't help your case.

Vod is reasonable and is known to reverse his decisions based on new information or if a member has proven himself not to be a scammer over time.  Your account is not ruined and don't give up hope that the situation can be resolved.  Anyone looking at what Vod wrote should be able to see that there's no evidence that you're a threat with someone else's funds.  If I was going to trade with you and saw that neg, I'd have no trouble looking past it.  I can't speak for everyone else, but it's not as bad as it seems.

I never claimed someone is a pedophile. I was and am very far from such kind of discussions. Please could you refer us to a quote where I called someone a pedophile? If not, I recommend you to remove your absolutely unfair feedback. When you are accusing someone of doing something wrong, you need to present some evidence. That how it works even in the court.

The first thing I would recommend to you is to not use the feedback system for retaliation.  That will only hurt your chances of working this out with Vod.  Second, send Vod a PM and ask him for the specific reasons behind his feedback.  If it is a mistake, he'll remove it.  He's been very reasonable and accommodating in similar past situations.

I read your feedbacks where numerous people call you that name, and they even posted a links to some websites. Dude, I do not care about your feedbacks, and I do not care who are you, and what are you doing. If you think all that people are me, that you must be insane. I registered this profile in 2018 and started to use it couple of days ago. To boost it and to be able of posting pictures, I paid around  $30 for my copper membership. I am asking you last time. Vod is the biggest loser in life . He gives neg feedback 5 times a day.
More interesting though is his trust site.
He had flags against him and has countless red feedbacks.
I bet he is the biggest scammer here but says everybody else is a scammer.

Thank you for your advice. I think I will proceed with that option. Because there is no other way to convince user VOD that I am not the person or persons who attacked him with very bad claims. Actually I never believed some internet trolls, because I was a witness of a coordinated attack on a twitter profile of one public person organized by trolls. There are so many examples of such activities on social networks. But VOD's reaction was very surprising for me. Instead of ignoring that claims he went mad and now thinks that all the world is against him. That is not the reaction of not guilty person.The campaign to exclude Vod from DT will start tomorrow unless he will not remove his feedback.

HE MUST BE IMPEACHED, LIKE SOMEONE ELSE, WHO IS ON HIS WAY OF IMPEACHMENT.

Where did I lie? No evidence for that either. Ok. As far you are refusing to remove your wrong feedback, I will start with mentioned campaign tomorrow. If you think you are allowed to do whatever you want here on this forum, you are totally wrong.
