Bitcoin is mainly used now as a store of value, so you might find that only a few people will actually try and use bitcoin for gambling transactions in that wallet. Of course this may shift in the coming years, especially if bitcoin receives more notice and is adopted by more states and countries to the point that it is on par in terms of daily usage with fiats.
If that can happen in the next years, the gambling business will use altcoin to gamble. I think that will be good for gamblers because they can save their bitcoin and sell at a high price to make money from that. While they can continue to gamble using the altcoin without thinking about the transaction fees, they have many options to use many altcoins to gamble. The gambling business really helps the cryptocurrency grow fast this year because it can attract more people to come to gambling games and gamble using cryptocurrency.

Gambling is growing more and more day by day so I think bitcoin will become a major role in all fields, especially in gambling, we know gambling with bitcoin can be said to be a large amount and this will make the development of bitcoin more and more used about gambling is one that is use becomes common in this time of pandemic some areas have laws in effect but under the auspices of all of them there must be a big advantage therefore there will be a bigger adoption especially in other cryptos.
You know if bet365 had the option to deposit and play with crypto currencies I would have always played with crypto instead of depositing with skill which I currently have to use as bet35 don't support BTC just yet. Its just so cool to have a payment method that doesn't charge fees and that doesn't have any reversible payment issues unlike Paypal.

I disagree a bit. Crypto and crypto gambling isn't a safe haven for people to gamble where gambling is illegal. It can actually make the experience worse if the country and government are anti-crypto, then it makes the situation more dangerous since it's like unregulated gambling which is a more serious concern. However, I have to agree that crypto has enabled most users to play games with ease and without much complications and made the gambling industry fun and hassle free! Smiley
Governments are always going to be anti-crypto because they cannot juice out taxes from people as they deal in BTC. But I don't think there is any problem in gambling your money which you earned online. Imagine if I am earning BTC online why is it a problem for government if I want to just spend it on gambling or even porn.

Not really, although gambling looks popular but in fact not everyone really likes gambling and even though they talk about gambling, they are not really gambling or just gambling in their own circle. So I think bitcoin is not just about gambling and this looks big because we are at least active in bitcoin gambling every week, so we assume bitcoin will get bigger as the world of gambling develops.
Actually gambling is quite popular among us bitcointalk users and although I agree that not everyone gambles but anyone who wishes to gable usually wants to remain anonymous and bitcoin is the best option for that. Almost all of the bitcoin casinos do not require any kind of verification unless a player is cheating so if you are a clean gambler and want to remain hidden, betting with Bitcoin is actually one of the best options out there.

Bitcoin gambling has amazing numbers as I visit these casinos often and the wagering numbers are staggering which clearly shows a big part of gamblers still prefer to bet with crypto. In fact I think big names like bet365 might be lacking behind if we consider the wagering amounts on casinos.

In my opinion, the increasing price of Bitcoin and Bitcoin transaction fees are also getting higher. Many people prefer to store their Bitcoin in a wallet
rather than having to use it to play gambling. And gamblers are starting to move to using altcoins to play gambling, besides the price of altcoins is
not as expensive as Bitcoin. Some altcoins also have low transaction fees.

But in 2020 when lockdowns come into effect in many countries, and the Bitcoin price is still under the $ 20k price tag. Many gamblers started
playing online gambling, because they couldn't play at traditional casinos. At that time Bitcoin was the most widely used by gamblers to play gambling,
so gambling helped a lot of Bitcoin more widely adopted.

Not really that bad to test out waters but only on small amounts of money for you to play specially if you are dealing with new gambling sites and even those popular websites
at the moment did really start on being a newbie site but do able to build up their reputation as the years passed. This isnt something that can be attained for a short time.
Gambling industry did really give out some impact or awareness of bitcoins existence, it is being advertised in other social media platforms out there
and its quite rampant or evident, it might not be solely for that reason but at least we can see that it can be applied into numerous industries.
I do not know why people do not do this more often, what I mean is that there is nothing wrong with trying new gambling websites, especially if you want to experience new games and see what they offer but for some reason people make big deposits on those casinos and then they get scammed, it is important to test new casinos with only a small amount of money and only once you have tested it throughly and other members of the community begin to share positive experiences about the casino as well then you may deposit a larger amount of money there.

Current average gambling site for Withdrawing using bitcoin is 0.0005 And that value is almost 25 $. For gamblers with a small BankRoll, of course, is a great value. I myself use the EOS / Tron when I want to bet because of the low cost and fast confirmation. Bitcoin / Ethereum with high fees, many choose other altcoin options

Where did you find this average number of withdrawal fee? Just curious because I haven't seen any casinos charges that much for bitcoin withdrawal fees at the moment. As what I know 0.0005btc is the average withdrawal fee on exchange instead of casino. Let me know if there is a casino or some casinos that charges you 0.0005btc for the withdrawal fee.

Hi everyone,

Gambling through sportsbooks and casinos seems like a great use case for Bitcoin (and other cryptos) at the moment.

It allows people from countries with strict gambling laws to play with no worry of punishments. It also allows successful gamblers to play without account restrictions placed on them - as they would get at fiat sportsbooks - and a whole host of other benefits.

As this sector is growing fast, I thought I'd write a weekly update about the developments in the crypto sportsbook/casino world.

Feel free to check it out and let me know your thought (there are a couple bets to follow in there too, if that's your thing) - https://bitedge.com/blog/crypto-betting-weekly-19-feb-2021/

Do you guys think gambling could be one of the main catalysts for Bitcoin becoming more widely adopted?

Thanks!
It is really good that we can still gamble even at the comfort of our room, despite of having a strict law in other countries we can still manage to play gambling however I think that this is not the best time to play gambling online, because a high price of bitcoin and for sure that at the same time, fees also increase.

It is now mate , because gambling using crypto is now scattered around the world , though there are still many countries that has restriction yet Majority are adopting crypto as gambling funds than just Fiat.

There are casino's in Vegas that has Bitcoin atm machine that proves the use and the demand of crypto in their gambling activities.

I do try new gambling sites but it takes a lot to convince me to stay, and even much more for me to actually leave a place I frequent and move all my business to a new place. Unfortunately new sites have a lot to prove but we also need to give places a chance. Competition is good, after all, we as the consumer suffer when there are too few houses to visit.

Well it is one of the reason why some people choose to be in crypto,
The privacy or anonymity is a good thing for those who wants to gamble privately or keep it hidden .
I know some people who went into crypto because of gambling not like what others use crypto for,
Some of my friends who saw me gambling also tried it and they enjoyed it since they couldn't go at casino anymore.

This is the advantage of gambling site that didn't require any KYC because some of the gamblers are playing on the dark side and they don't want to get exposed. Crypto gambling is growing, many successful gambling site today that allows many countries on their site. Trying new gambling site is fine as long as its legit, and maybe they offer more good services compare to your current site.

We could not deny ho gambling gives a boost to crypto adoption. As the number of gambling sites growing, the more it drives crypto exposure to the gamblers and that is what we are now. In fact, most gambling sites now are accepting Bitcoin and some altcoins aside from accepting fiat money. We know the benefits of using Bitcoin in gambling and that we easily make a deposit unlike of we do in fiat. But we can't deny also this also makes people become more addicted to gambling as they can do it anytime, make a deposit anytime.

This is a good idea since crypto users constantly increasing time on time. And you can help them actually to find new way to make a profits through safe gambling sites.  But i suggest check very carefully when it comes providing a gambling site on this thread, cause you know not all on this industry are legitimate.. So you must visit the Scam accusation thread on this forum so that you have an information what are the good and bad sites when it comes to gamble.. This forum can tell you the truth men, so you must explore more..
There is a thread about the scam sites here, he keeps adding new sites so worth a visit before playing on a new casino:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5283832.0

There are so many websites which look great but they end up scamming, the most recent such site I can recall is goosebet which as I visit last was allowing users to withdraw funds at least by the looks of it but they stopped gambling operations for some reason.

The demand for crypto gambling will continue to grow but it does not apply to fiat's currency is confined to one place and it is very difficult to make a profit here crypto gambling is a kind of addiction and many people play it through entertainment. Crypto gambling sites are improving a lot through blockchain every gambler has a great way of betting crypto gambling protects every gaming site, and its slots no one knows the details of crypto gambling and everyone makes the game great.
What makes crypto-gambling even better is the nature of the games they are offering. Till now the games made were controlled and the results were not verifiable which means we had to trust the casino or the game provider. Now with crypto-gambling games like dice, keno, bustabit and others we get the chance to actually verify our rolls.

Without iota of doubt, there's much of gambling be a catalyst for cryptocurrencies, there were times the gambling world was stuck through KYC and with the advent of this cryptocurrencies gamblers can play from far and near without disclosing their identity. As at today, the wide adoption of these cryptocurrencies could be trace to the world of gambling, so, gambling is one of the catalyst for Bitcoin adoption IMO.

Do you guys think gambling could be one of the main catalysts for Bitcoin becoming more widely adopted?
Thanks!
Gambling industry on this crypto market wont really make this big if those things or factors doesnt exist specially that no KYC plus that decentralized manner which did really spark out the interest of the many.

If we compared on how big and far had we become in a few years time then you can see the difference.Even on upcoming years to come we can really still expect that this market will grow even more.

Try to look on how many gambling sites as of this moment and it continues to rise up in numbers because business owners do see that there's really a market on this place.

From a personal perspective, I think the above sort of points to the fact that we're still early adopters of Bitcoin, I would say the majority of the large Bitcoin holders are people that have been waiting for Bitcoin to go mainstream, are just waiting for the market to mature. They're pretty risk adverse, but I think that could change.
There's been a lot of attention from the gambling world in the last couple of years, the news has been relatively favorable for Bitcoin overall, and there are some really innovative applications that have popped up, specifically around investing.

It's nice to see that the online gambling industry has so far been relatively open to the potential of using Bitcoin, but it's still early.

It is undeniable that before it was the gambling sector, the crypto casinos are one of the main reasons why the massive adoption is happening. But it's different this time and it's the institutions that are having the FOMO of buying bitcoin. As we look to the prices right now, it's one of the highest again, the $55k has been reached surprisingly and didn't expected to be that fast. The tweet of bitcasino purchasing Tesla, I hope that it will be granted by Elon Musk. That's going to be one of the best deals ever that we're going to see in the history if it happens.

Crypto casinos are one of the foundations of Bitcoin's achievements right now. It made crypto popular which is also beneficial to gamblers especially during this pandemic situation. However, there are already lots of events that influences that price of Bitcoin right now and you're right, Fomos and huge institutions that adopt it are some of them.

Crypto gambling becomes well known because of it's privacy and a users can engage anonymously. In my opinion, it's growth is also increasing during this pandemic season. So users adopt this kind of gambling because of the benefit that they can have. Crypto gambling industry is growing and will continue to succeed.

I agree that gambling is a very good use case for cryptocurrencies. However, with recent spikes in Bitcoin fees, it's also a challenge for them because who'd pay the same fees at the deposit or withdrawal amount?
As for avoiding punishments, I don't think that's what cryptos are for. And crypto casinos also often have their own restricted areas and stuff, so playing from a restricted jurisdiction is not a good idea.
As for your website, I think it's interesting info that you're sharing there, there were things I didn't hear about there.
Yes gambling is one of the case, but sometimes it became the reason as well for same banned accounts, in my country local wallet exchange cannot be used in receiving gambling salary or payout they will banned your account instantly so whenever I will use my payout and withdraw it in my wallet I will transfer it in other exchanges first before receiving it , but all in all gambling can help more and more country to adopt crypto.
