Friends i want to ask about a think that i realy cant explain...there is a token called AME that had an ieo price of 0.02...the token get listed on bithumb globale and the price down to 0.006 (bounty hunters and airdrops)...after the sell off end the price go up and stay a long time between 0.01 and 0.013...the team annaunced a new listing at mxc exchange and everyone expect a big incrass(the token had just 2.5 mln$ marketcap at 0.01) but what really happened is that the price decrass to 0.005 within one week and this make me confused...now the price is 0.08 and i start believing that what happened in mxc in the first days wasnt innocent

AME runs their bounties months ago with very generous payment rates for bounty hunters. They are sort of people who want quick money and don't want to wait too long. They almost don't have any belief in projects they are promoting for. Big dumps from bounty hunters sure.

Listing news can result in pumps but it can cause dumps. It depends on the team are playing behind and you can not predict it correctly. You have to connect price changes with bitcoin changes in the same days, weeks. Bitcoin falls will cause big dumps on altcoins.

Listing news can result in pumps but it can cause dumps. It depends on the team are playing behind and you can not predict it correctly. You have to connect price changes with bitcoin changes in the same days, weeks. Bitcoin falls will cause big dumps on altcoins.

I agree with you and i think somthing was happening behind the scene but i wonder who was playing(price manipulation or team sell off)...the token is in a good way and the targetes get higher...corections are really soft and i think we will see at least ×5 (top 3 also coming in mars)

that's a common thing dude. The whale knows if ame can be pumped easily and that's why they were making the price of ame to be dumped to the bottom to make the hunters sold their coin at the cheap price.
The majority of hunters can't be patient for that and that will be a problem.
Some hunters also blatantly saying they didn't believe with the project. Those hunters were regretting their decision now dude.  
the movement of altcoin can't be predicted easily.

You can only speculate that people who bought at $0.006 have taken their profits after the pump caused by the announcement. That resulted into a panic to some traders who bought at $0.01 and they sold at a loss until it went down to $0.005. You don't have to ask why they did that.

If you are going to suspect a market manipulation by the team or some whales, feel free to investigate but you will only go in circles. Pumps after huge dumps happens to all tokens/coins.

You can only speculate that people who bought at $0.006 have taken their profits after the pump caused by the announcement. That resulted into a panic to some traders who bought at $0.01 and they sold at a loss until it went down to $0.005. You don't have to ask why they did that.

Thats a good point and i must tsay thank you because you noticed the application to binance because i wonder if such annauncement can harm the negotiation with the exchange or not because binance team as i know are really strict

In the past, there were many projects who falsely announce listings on Binance to pump their own token and exit. This made CZ angry and issued a warning that whoever does it again will be automatically rejected.

On the case of Amepay, the tweet was about application and potential listing (not actual listing as previous projects did). If that's not covered under non-disclosure agreements between the two companies, I don't see anything wrong with it. Of course it could blow up to their faces if it wasn't granted by both/either exchanges.

This often happens to tokens, dumps because they don't see the good development of these tokens or there is any bad news, and vice versa when there is good news and whale becomes the main ones of each pump and dump, the important thing is not to miss when the pump occurs

Wow that's a roller coaster ride but nothing fancy there. Dumping is normal and even pumping. So you are saying mxc are wash trading it? Maybe but if the project is really have potential then there is a chance to really go high. Depends on traders, sometime they take that low dumping as an opportunity and that's what happened now they ripping the profit as it increase almost 4x from the ico and more than 5x from its dump.

This is a normal scene in the altcoin industry and every year, you will see such kind of scenario. the people who sold their token earlier was the one who managed to earn some decent amount of income while the others who take too long to sell their tokens might only get the half of the price of their investments. Most likely the price won't recover since it sinks to the bottom already but if they happen to have a secondary big-time investor which will also invest in their tokens some big cash, then the price will recover slowly until the current big-time will be followed up with another one and so on so forth.

I am one of the bounty participants from the 2nd round Amepay campaign from the first week and who still have not received payment in the 3 weeks before the bounty is stopped, and for the problem of the situation that is currently happening to Amepay the team says they will do a little burning along with a re-purchase before the price increases and after 2 weeks later, the price of AME tokens actually went up in the 3 exchanges that I often monitor, namely global bithumb, MXC, and XT.com, so the question that arises now is when will the next distribution be carried out? even though the manager has given the answer by saying the team is very busy and gas costs are also very expensive.

Sometimes a listing creates hype, some early adopters of coins sell their holding for profit, it could be airdrop or bounty hunters, or presale investors. AMEPAY price surge isn't a manipulation, there might be manipulations behind the scene but who cares? What we all want is to make profit anyways but for the fact that the token is going binance is enough to change everything, the demand and supply will surely be affected, more buyers will buy with the hope to make huge gains when the project finally arrive on binance exchange

Bounty hunters are always to blame whenever the dumps happen, there is no real proof to it actually because there is always the chance that the teams allocated funds or the investors who bought also dump right the first chance they see after it's listed.

But I can't believe it pumped this fast that its price right now is $0.07. If any bountyhunter still holds, he must be profiting good, if I was one I would sure try to accumulate using the bounty tokens.

Dumpers are always in a hurry to sell because they always think if we late to sell we will not get the money that we are getting at present even they don't have the patience to hold because they are always afraid of the loss of value so I am sure that is the reason AME drops now dumpers already dump their coins and holders hold on tight so the value of AME is increasing. I am also one of the holders and trust this project. Even the team also announces in their official Telegram group that they are planning to list on the top 3 exchanges in the coming months I believe this is also one of the reasons for rising.

maybe ame holders got curious of the new exchange , thats why they try the exchange and sell off thier coins and thats how the price decline and then later on someone decided to buy but buying can occur not only on that new exchange where ame was listed but also on the old or first exchange where it was listed or the drop can also be caused by other factors , you know other coins are dropping as well so its not the fault of the exchange if i where to ask . the price of ame recover and increases like you said , dont need to complain anymore .

If bounty hunters are the reasons then why team paid in their tokens they could simply paid them in bitcoin so the dump will be for BTC not to their project right? Bounty hunters are promoting it for money so it is expected from them to dump once it was listed on exchanges. Short term dump don't really make a project to be bad so if the project is worthy then it will recover sooner and make some huge returns to the investors.

it's always like that when a coin is new and the market is not really stable yet but they could easily retrieve back their initial price and maybe even get a bullrun.
the dumping itself is just a process of eliminating panic seller that could potentially crush any opportunity of bull run in the future and that happens to many new coins aswell, you can say it's just the usual cycle of newly listed coin and doesn't reflect the true state of the market at all.

As I know, ame dumps because of the large number of tokens from bounties and airdrops, so when I list on several exchangers, many people sell amepay, even investors, and I hear quite a lot of FUD. Well, after a few weeks or months, the project starts developing, and the price goes up again. Well, I saw on his telegram that this token will be listing on Hobbies and Binance in a moment, it is making a big boost to the price.
