Dump just after a new listing?

I recently checked AME's value and is now at 0.06 dollars. I dont think it is a pump and dump scheme, instead it's just AME's value fluctuating through the influence of the market. Though there is a way to know whether it is a pump and dump scam, and that is the sudden increase in volume when there were no records of trading in the past few weeks or months. Tokens are illiquid, this sign is particularly notable when the price chart has been flat, with little to no volume for weeks or months before the spike.

A couple of weeks past the price of AME was dumped into 0.048$ each the lowest if I am not mistaken, and now if your gonna
check its price again at Bithumb exchange it jumped up again into 0.1$ something https://www.bithumb.pro/en-us/spot/trade?q=AME-USDT
in which means this coin really have a potentials to increase in the future.

Due to the latest news about ame getting listed on the gate.io and that was giving a very big impact to the price and it makes the price can break 10 cents again right now. i think that when amechain will be launched and we will see there will be another FOMO for ame token. This time ame token looks so promising dude and anyone wanna get it.
Ame will be listed on another major exchange site soon. I hope that will come true.

Friends i want to ask about a think that i realy cant explain...there is a token called AME that had an ieo price of 0.02...the token get listed on bithumb globale and the price down to 0.006 (bounty hunters and airdrops)...after the sell off end the price go up and stay a long time between 0.01 and 0.013...the team annaunced a new listing at mxc exchange and everyone expect a big incrass(the token had just 2.5 mln$ marketcap at 0.01) but what really happened is that the price decrass to 0.005 within one week and this make me confused...now the price is 0.08 and i start believing that what happened in mxc in the first days wasnt innocent

Who have an idea about the situation?

I also follow developments from Amepay. January was experiencing a dump even to the lowest price. when it was actually still under development by their team regarding Amepay products. and within 1 month after listing the fantastic increase even reached $ 0.15. Currently, the staking program has attracted investors to invest in Amepay. on the other hand, in this forum there is a problem regarding amepay and bounty participants

It's simple buy the rumors sell the news. But if you invest long term in some project it's nothing really that important. Have diamond hands and you will be okey long run.

It's not simple as that and it's not always about the rumour. AME was doing very big airdrop in the past and it's about a few percent from the total supply and that makes the market was dropping a lot to the bottom.
I think that it's not about rumour sell for the news and that's wrong.

The one you stated is about supply and demand.  It is natural for the market price to react negatively (drop) once the supply is saturated and there is nothing added on the demand table since price always reacts inversely proportional to the supply when the demand is fixed.

This sure gives us a lesson that a good timing always gives us better profit.  Nothing will happen if we blindly hold tokens since we might miss the opportunity for a maximum profit if we don't sell them at the right time.

There's no need to regret when you are already making out some profits because what if the price had dip down even more? For sure you would say different thing or "phew i just made the right decision on selling"
When it comes to situations like these then it is just really common so better not to make out any regrets after you sell out even though the price pumped after that then theres no turning back but at least you had able to earn and thats what matter most it is just part of being a human on not really likes to missed out further profits when everytime they do saw that they had potentially able to make if they had just simply hold even a bit longer and talking about dump after new listing then this is a common stuff but not do happen most of the time because pumps could really happen in pre-listing already.

And if we saw the price of the AME token in the market it looks promising than the others, maybe it just goes along with the hype but I couldn't call it a shitcoin for what it has done.
By taking it aside, most of the tokens just dump right after listed on the market, and that it happens ever since. And it becomes a habit now for the hunter to immediately sold their tokens once it has already open for trading which mostly a reason why the price goes down faster instead of helping it to stabilize and goes high.

Investors already made profit on this project, so as the bounty hunters who did not sold early. The ATH was 0.15 usd, and the current price still brings proftt to investors, probably a shit coin to some but its surviving and its listed in decent exchanges no not yet in Binance.

it could even be from their own development team which has a large number of tokens.
investors who sell the bonus they get can also move the price in the market.
but that doesn't mean what bounty and airdrop hunters do can't affect the price on the market. Not really surprising, this happens on so many coins when they get listed it's not only Amepay, expect this to happen on any coin's first listing and even when it gets listed in a big exchange, but if the project has potential and they are gaining liquidity and volume is high, there is no need to worry, Amepay is a good project, based on what I see on their development, the token will regain it's all-time high, just follow it's development.

Usually the biggest factor of dumping is the price of presale that's usually too low everytime it just got up a little bit some investors gonna dump it while at the same time the project has no promising future whatsoever.
It's basically like you've already invested into some project a quite of the sum but you're kinda dissapointed in the projects and decide to dump it altogether since you get it cheap anyway. when it comes to bounty and such, the dump usually only temporarily.
