UCoin has announced real estate tokenization around the world

We are excited to share the news with you: we have recently signed a deal with Securitize and STO Security Token Offering and are planning to begin working on tokenization projects in the near future. The first property to be tokenized will be a luxury hotel Courtyard by Marriott, then eco-friendly hotels located on Galapagos Islands, a gold mine, a number of Miami hotels, and much more.

As it stands, investments in the real sector often have a high entry threshold that makes it impossible for millions of potential participants to join the market. For example, the real estate market is a conservative behemoth that is governed by strict laws and regulations. If tokenized, those looking to invest into real estate will be able to buy a certain number of tokens tied to a real estate asset. A key point of tokenization is how it allows investing any amount of money into assets. This lowers the entry threshold tremendously.

Launching of the London upgrade on Ethereum’s Ropsten testnet. London notably contains EIP-1559, which will improve the UX around paying Ethereum gas fees and will burn a small amount of ETH via every Ethereum transaction.

Bitcoin price has wicked below $30 000. On Bitstamp the price dropped to as low as $28,600. By the end of the week the market saw some recovery, with BTC rearing above $35 000, but high volatility remains.

On 23 June, the Spanish Supreme Court approved the extradition of John McAfee, jailed in the country. A few hours later he was found dead.

China banned banks and payment systems from working with accounts associated with cryptocurrency transactions.

Paraguay has announced a Bitcoin legalization bill.
