When I was still a newbie to crypto many people told me to keep holding and that's all I did for many years and in the end I ended up with many dead coins, whenever I keep seeing people talking about patience as if it's the only thing a newbie need I always shake my head, the fact is you need more than patience to get good results from projects, having patience sometimes will get you nothing

It always depends on what you are trying to achieve with your crypto investment. If you want to have a chance to make 500$ into 50.000 $ without much effort, then the best thing would be to invest your 500$ into 1 or more solid crypto projects and then just wait. In this case you really need patience to not cash out to early or sell off once the prices are dropping.
If you want to make the absolut maximum out of your initial 500$ investment then you need to be a very active trader, buy the rumor sell the news, listen to trends, be active on twitter and telegram to be informed and so on. That's much more effort but also has the potential of making way more money compared to simple hodling. It also creates more opportunity for wrong decisions though.

You can't do much just with patience, or just with big capital...you need some set! And most important is to learn when to use a specific skill... there's time to be patient and quiet, there's a time when you need to play it aggressively... being smart is knowing how to act in the best way in the specific market conditions!
In the end, I believe in exceptions! Exceptions are everywhere around, and in dealing with crypto! You can try to find your own way and to be good in whatever you do!

patience still a key but of course you just fooled yourself if u don't really know about what u hold it. did you ever try to get in touch on their social media maybe, or even their telegram group about how its going. basically even for exit scam project u must see something strange on their telegram group.
For me definity about patience with also hear about how project going on then u will know how the time will paying you for your patience.

Sorry to hear that, first of all you need to have any decision based on your will so you wont regret it so much.
Secondly, the patience that you need is if the project you follow have any development but the price didnt follow it, so you need to be patience for it.
Last, reset your strategy and pick another crypto, maybe you're not too late to take another crypto profit.

Because once they go down and the devs abandoned it, there's no way that it will go up again.

Doge have no devs anymore and yet its rising star at this time, sometimes community over development dude. So, sometimes this crypto movement make many people have some headache

HODL,I think this only makes sense for bitcoin and major altcoins.If you had received and hold bnb last year, you could earn good money right now or ethereum.But if you do this with shit coins the result may be disappointing

Not for altcoins unfortunately (except the strong contenders like Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum, maybe EOS and others). I made the same mistake as you, entering when I thought the dip was happening in 2017/18 but only to see them never recover again.

Altcoins are always a gamble, that's something you've to accept before dipping in. So is Defi, in case you're wondering.

That's right, what you say is something that everyone who is involved in crypto should do so they don't always depend on other people because what has been said may not be what you want.

even though the most important thing is to continue to learn to be able to determine and analyze yourself and do whatever we will execute. of course with the results of what we have done before so that it becomes the best learning. if we don't have the confidence to do it ourselves then we will continue to depend on other people, obviously not good.

If you put all of your money in an overhyped or shit project and thinking that patience will give you benefits in long term then you have the wrong mindset. If I had patience with my BTC holding from 2017 then I already made more than 25X by this time. So patience is everything but you need to choose the right project for that.

Actually patience good about way for all top currency. You can feel like BTC and ETH price now because very long time later there going to up. Recently i have been sold ame token price of $0.05 but now price move forward $0.14. otherwise you should analysis more before holding a coin then you can gonna more patience.

I hate seeing my holdings of coins going completely off but such projects are often seen im crypto market because of no real regulation and no control over project and people behind them, it is the end user that has to face the risk so it is always better to cashout partially whenever we can.

Of course patience is not always good, sometimes it works not for us but against us. Such strategy works only with trustworthy coins and there is always a high risk to lose even in this case. If I was patient in 2018 as for lots of altcoins that wrre on the wallet I would lost everything those year.

That's agreeable! Why bother to take part with project that you are unsure?

Patience is very applicable for solid projects that have strong foundation. Stable projects who keep improving their services. With this type of project, your investment can have a brighter future ahead. Taking time and keep enhancing your knowledge behind the project that you are supporting, it can save you a lot of time and effort, and eventually, it can bring fortune once the team starts harvesting the fruit of their hard work.

If you speak as a bounty hunter, patience is necessary. because not all of the projects that we follow are successful. but if you talk as an investor, patience is not the main thing ... but looking for information about the coins we need to buy and have value in future is the main thing.
