Nowadays the potential of profits when investing in bitcoin is higher than when buying a piece land. Furthermore, to make profit with your land you would still need a big investment besides buying it to turn it into a profitable activity and a lot of personal effort.

With bitcoin it's different. You just buy the amount of coins you wish, it can be a big or a small investment, and wait until they increase in price.

However I'm not saying to buy a land is a bad investment. Actually it's a very safe and desired one, but the point is that it's not so simple and cheap like buying bitcoins and other crypto. If you have financial conditions just go for both options: crypto currencies and lands.

That is a pretty strong argument to go into cryptos instead of real estate. I agreed with you. We have ultra low interest rates for almost 15 years now, loans have been so cheap for ages, which makes buying land so expensive. Everybody wants to own an apartment or house because you get money for free these days. That is also why house prices have been rising for the past 20 years without dropping at all. Even now with corona the prices are not falling.

There is no compulsion to invest in cryptocurrency, but if we look at the many institutions investing in Bitcoin. This proves that investing in Bitcoin is very profitable and has a bright future, so it would be stupid if we even refused to invest in Bitcoin. Actually, profit is there no second opinion about it, but the point OP is trying to make is how we can get passive or continuous income from the investment because to buy daily necessities you need a regular flow of money. My answer would be quite simple, sell some bitcoins and cash them for needs.

Imagine you invested $12k last year and purchased 1 BTC.

You sell 0.02 BTC each month, for 12 months let's imagine. You ended up spending 0.24 BTC in a year.

BTC price went from 12k to 50k which means you 4x your money and despite selling ~25% of your coins, you still have around $37k with yourself.

So, that is how one can sell BTC and still remain in profit but yeah I don't think these kind of bull runs will continue happening every year.

Well, I do not think anybody on this forum has the time or the patience to begin to explain what bitcoin and why it's a great investment plan. Personally, I do not think you asked the question to actually know more but to prove your point that buying a land is worth more than investing in bitcoin.

You shouldn't invest in crypto, crypto is a scam, a big pump and dump scheme in the long run. You should invest in Bitcoin, providing you understand the risks and know how to use it safely. Bitcoin is projected to go up because it's supply is limited, yet demand is growing as more and more people discovering it and wanting to own it. Other coins don't have such properties.

Do you still think that BTC and all other cryptocurrencies are a bubble? Crypto has achieved impressive level of market capitalization (more than 1.5 trillions). It's a tremendous amount of dollars. If so you know, there is a thing called capital appreciation. I don't want to explain it because it is a very basic term in investing but in summary, when you bought a coin and then it went up or increased then it is called capital appreciation.

In crypto, there are some coins that are offering staking which is considered dividends in crypto (or at least that is what I know). Now to answer your question, you should invest into it because if you want to support the future then you must. I am seeing the bitcoin's volatility as a potential or a good factor but maybe a bad factor for some people because in bitcoin you can earn profit or money by its volatility in which if the price of bitcoin goes up then for sure your money will go up also but when bitcoin is down then your investment in bitcoin will be down also. There's no such thing as dividend in crypto. Why should you incest in crypto? well maybe if you read more, trying to understand this cryptocurrency world and the blockchain technology you might know why.

So you had never bought land as well as BTC and have no idea what to do with both?  In my country when you buy land you have to pay land tax every year, if you fire weeds (according to the new law) you have to pay fine (smoke from fired weeds is very toxic), if you want to grow goods on your land you have to work very hard for several years to cultivate and fertilize your land to make it pleasant for crops. On other hand is BTC. When you buy BTC and hold it on your digital wallet you don't need to work hard. You hodl or trade sitting in your room with a cup of taste coffee or tea, click on buttons and get some grains and don’t pay income tax.

Crypto doesn't have any similarities with land in anyway besides being an investment tool. What OP is trying to say is obviously stupid, there is no dividend in land, what you get there is just a appreciation of the land which increases every year and is proportional to its prices. @iamsheikadil is right, investing in land does make sense but OP's point is the one that doesn't make sense. Why look for dividends in crypto when there is stock market that guarantees what you are asking?
