If Netflix allows bitcoin as a payment method for their services, this will allow many new customers to join Netflix . Remember when bitcoin was first introduce in the gambling industry, the gambling industry boomed. Same will happen to Netflix if they adopt and accept Bitcoins.
I wouldn't count on that, that adding bitcoin as a payment would have a significant impact on the number of Netflix subscribers.

I mean, I've been Netflix subscriber for years (and very satisfied one for that matter) and I would certainly welcomed that option, but with the price of bitcoin transaction relative to the price of monthly subscription, I am not sure that many would suddenly start paying Netflix just because they can, let alone those who for whatever reason never subscribed to Netflix before.

If they allow for longer subscription periods then bitcoin could become an option to pay for this service, however I agree that I do not think this will increase the business of Netflix by that much, after all while many people are using their bitcoin to buy what they need it is not as if people are in any rush to spend their bitcoin now, while a Netflix subscription is not going to dramatically change your holdings the more bitcoin you spend the less you have and the less profits you can get once the market resumes its bull run.

I respect Tim Draper because he has always been positive when it comes to BTC, especially in times when many said it was only a matter of time before BTC would disappear and be worth $0. When it comes to Netflix, it is possible that TD has some insider information or has heard something given that it moves in circles of very rich and influential people.

I know some are speculating that the next big fish in the crypto sea will be Amazon or Apple, which is not impossible - but I don't think it will go so easily with Apple where one of the biggest shareholders is the biggest skeptic when it comes to BTC (Warren Buffett). On the other hand, I don't know what Bezos thinks about everything, but I know that he never has enough money and that he will not miss any opportunity that can bring him profit.

It's only a matter of time before everyone invests in BTC, but does it matter at all? I would rather have that same BTC bought by ordinary people - but there is no way we can escape the rich becoming even richer and the poor even poorer.

We will never know. But Tim Draper's prediction must have some reasons. I think it is not even Tim Draper alone who believes that sooner rather than later Netflix will also be converting some cash into Bitcoin. Reed Hastings must have already heard and known Bitcoin for quite some time. I guess it is already being carefully studied as of the moment.

Whoever falls next won't matter. After all, all of them will fall in due time.

We will never know. But Tim Draper's prediction must have some reasons.

The man predicted in 2014 that BTC would reach at least $10k in the next 3 years, and in 2018 he said he expected $250k by the end of 2022. In his interviews, he always emphasized that Bitcoin is something that everyone will want and will become more sought after than gold. He is one of those who can definitely see how things will develop in the future, and so far this has proven to be correct - and in a little less than 2 years it is not impossible to reach even $250k.

“I’m thinking $250,000 a bitcoin by 2022,” said Draper. “Believe it. They’re going to think you’re crazy, but believe it. It’s happening and it’s going to be awesome!” Draper, a founding partner in Draper Associates, made the prediction on April 12, 2018, at the Block (Chain) Party at Draper University in San Mateo, California.

-snip-

My thinking is the same, it is only a matter of time and the unknown is when.

The US government are pressing ahead to print another $1.9 Trillion so
the dollar is being weakened again so there will be more of a reason to
move wealth to Bitcoin.

We cannot pick and choose who comes and goes into Bitcoin but its a
pity that more ordinary people havent and wont embrace Bitcoins potential.

We cannot pick and choose who comes and goes into Bitcoin but its a
pity that more ordinary people havent and wont embrace Bitcoins potential.
Two reasons are volatility and uneducated on how Bitcoin works, many people still consider Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme and they all thought that Bitcoin is a company, the media have portrayed Bitcoin as a form of Ponzi scheme or MLM, and the masses believed it because they cannot comprehend the technology behind it.

If it is true that Netflix will invest in Bitcoin, this will have a huge impact on the world of cryptocurrency. Because as we know Netflix is the largest
digital streaming media service provider in the world, with more than 169 million users, this will send Bitcoin's price skyrocketing even more.
I was getting impatient waiting for this to come true. Moreover, many of the predictions made by the Draper Team are quite accurate, hopefully
his prediction this time is also correct.

Tim Draper was a guest at "The Unstoppable Podcast Episode 15", and he was ask what he thinks will be the next Fortune 100 to invest in bitcoin, and he blurted out Netflix under Reed Hastings, who he said is a very innovative guy. So there is a possibility that he might be looking at BTC to hedge their reserve assets.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6nSWFRFTJM

Go forward 29:00, what are your thoughts about it? Will Netflix be the next one to hedge balance sheet to bitcoin?

This is a whale who tries to spread an attempt of taking down bitcoin in order to deceive us through his statements. Despite of how progressive is the bitcoin price these days, his mindset is to create an aggressive predictions without any strong support. Unfortunately, that doesn't coincide of the latest updates because price continues to rise.

I don't really see why Netflix would have any interest in holding bitcoin in their reserves. Maybe if they start accepting it through PayPal this could be the case, but there are thousands of companies that use PayPal and so far none of them are getting into bitcoin for this reason.

Accept the fact or reality that there are people who doesnt really know the basics and trying to conclude things out without any basis which is just sad to think  that they are really
just missing out some good opportunity if they had just known the truth behind.

In the talks about Netflix accepting bitcoin then i dont see for them not to do so but depending if the said company will really be seeing the positive side of things
of accepting bitcoin rather than on going to negative. Putting up reserves or integration into its service would always be a good thing.

Whoever falls next won't matter. After all, all of them will fall in due time.

It's only a matter of time, big names like PayPal and Elon Musk's Tesla are already in, it's hard to ignore that, they will regret not getting in early, big names do not make a mistake they know the step that they are going to make when investing, so small players should follow and reap the profit, we can like this to a domino effect where companies and institutions are falling one by one, this is a technology that will go on and they cannot ignore it.

It is interesting to think about how many of those are already in, when Elon announced that he was in bitcoin he did it after the fact, after he had bought bitcoin for a cheaper price, the news made the price go up but who else is doing the same as Elon? I am sure there are many businesses that decided to put some part of their portfolio in bitcoin just to make sure they do not lose everything if the government losses control of the economy as it seems to be the case already.
