Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yeah.. I'm not sure if it's real. I don't know how that site works, it could be a post by a random fan for all I know. I'm hoping someone can shed some light. |

It's pretty clear that Satoshi is not Asian culture-wise. Bitcoin was never offered directly in an Asian language. Whatever. TV has never been canonically correct to reality.

Aye, but it better fits what the stereotypical American views as the face of someone that his insanely smart with math.. Never heard of the show either, though to be fair i don't watch much t.v. I will definetly tune in for an episode about Bitcoin however! Did they have a plot drawn out for the episode? And, anyone here thinking about casting for the parts? =) Cheers |
If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

My wife watches this show and so, consequently, I've seen a few episodes. It's not bad, per se, just not my cup of tea. It will probably be as effective at turning people onto bitcoin as a commercial on the Lifetime channel.
