This looks like a boring series that I will probably never watch again, though I liked their Bitcoin coverage. My favorite part was the implication that Bitcoin is something that all young people are familiar with. Like it's an integral part of Internet culture. Not really true yet, but I like the idea.
The real Satoshi story is way more interesting than the story in the show, though.

I wonder what the real Satoshi thinks of this episode. He definitely watched it.

That's why they're business experts.

Let's hope they don't trace his IP address from one of the encoded blocks! I actually like the show, my girlfriend got me hooked on it a couple of seasons ago. There's some good drama, and it is a story from an interesting perspective, that of the wife of a cheating, dirty politician.

Great show! Amazed at how much they addressed many of the issues - ie., "digital commodity vs. currency". Although I think most of the Occupy Wall Street are clueless to bitcoin (contrary to what was said in the episode), but many of them will now know about it. And then there was Kramer...shocking that an establishment insider like him called it a "commodity" vs. a "currency" (of course this is only an acting role). Perhaps the banksters don't fear bitcoin and I'm not sure if that's good.

Just heard about it and checked out about half of it. Interesting discussion in the courtroom about how to treat the concept of Bitcoin. Never been into drama shows though and don't watch much TV but I thought it was pretty interesting.

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name! Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD. Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins. And lead us into quadruple digits

I thought the episode was excellent.
BUT from my perspective, this show, and every other mass market publicity for bitcoin is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it will cause thousands of people to Google bitcoin and learn more about it, thus helping the economy grow. On the other hand, some of those people will find these forums when they Google, and see what a load of pedantic aspergians we have around here, and it will frighten them away. Speaking of, does Atlas still post?

Watched the episode today--twice--and it was fantastic! Even my 65ish year old parents, which had previously been totally uneducated with bitcoin, were fascinated and learned a lot. It's a lot more interesting when people on TV are talking about something, I suppose.
