Well Even though the Track Layout isn't really that amazing in my opinion the spectacle while the drivers driving that track real spectacle was the vision for iconic landmarks like the Bellagio - MGM Resorts and the new MSG Sphere at night that is the promise while driving in this Circuit for sure when the race would start the roads towards the Track will be permanently close which there will be a lot of negative comments for the F1 and comparing it to the Covid-19 because of the lockdowns of some roads, during the race,

There is another challenge with Las Vegas GP - extremely low temperatures. Maybe it won't be coldest ever F1 race, but most likely coldest in modern era. All sessions will be held at night (qualifying at noon and race at 10 PM local time)and current forecast shows 8-9°C, but it may drop even to 5°C. So, there will be lot of struggle to keep tyre temperatures high.
Also, we in Europe have to prepare to get up early on weekend to watch it because here it will be early morning during qualification and race.

For sure night time will be a great spectacle for the drivers while driving toward the MSG Sphere and for sure night time is the only time when the Sphere is lit, while F1 banned three key colors from Sphere during the Vegas GP action and it was the colors yellow, red and blue, to avoid distraction from drivers,

Until then, we have Las Vegas race this weekend and by the way it looks , this circuit won't favor Redbull but then again , we had a lot of circuits this year that didn't favor RedBull nor Max but somehow they managed to win the race , qualifiers and also get the extra point for fastest lap of the race. For me Alfa Romeo has always the best liveries in F1, the colours and the design are really beatifull, sadly the team in terms of performance are not so good.

I dont know what to expect for Las Vegas Gp, because we dont have previous data, and also the drivers is gonna be their first time in this track.

I looked this up actually after I read your post because I remember I always liked Sauber from before even from when everyone liked the horse on red.

Then it made me smile to see Sauber is actually now Alfa Romeo, used to be BMW and next will be Audi. Sorta shame it's not Sauber but I guess they need the sponsorship money.

Very sad indeed they can't live up, they used to be strong, left Ferrari links, even Red Bull sold and bought their own. Little piece from history I didn't know about.

Just noticed a trailer about it with Button and the speed of light rise of the team with their first entry into F1 getting pole position and winning at their premiere race!

Hadn't heard of them before as it was before my time of really getting into it but it was a team by Honda and sold to what looked like a bargain of a deal for £1!

Las Vegas is definitely a special place, and it is not the last race of the season but could be one of the most fun one for sure. We are talking about a lot how is and they are famous for making everything bigger and better and more fun. I think that "eye" stadium or whatever thing could do something regarding f1 and that could make the race a lot better, I am not saying give the race full live there, that would be weird, but at least they could do some helmet type of thing and could be fun to watch that.

I believe that Las Vegas is a rich place that can use some of that money to attract people. Why this matters so much? In a situation where there are 100k+ people coming to watch the race, what are they going to do after or before? They will gamble ,and that is why this race matters to them so much. They need to spend some time to make sure that they do marketing properly, the best as they can, to attract more people next year to get a lot more money in the end.

Vegas is all about the glitz & glamour and they have pulled out all stops there to make this a spectacle nobody will ever forget who are watching it live on the strip.
They are definitely trying to get more fans to the sport and will spare no expense to appeal to the masses and put on a show!
Just look at the sphere!
It is massive and in clear view from the track and you will be certain they will put advertising on it and probably costs as much as the superbowl to have your company or product up on there for all 3 days of races.

Practice begins in the next several hours so be prepared to get a look at the track and how these cars handle on this new asphalt during the cooler temperatures during these night races all weekend long.

Man! I would also love a replica of my own F1 machine, for sure a display purposed car is something unique in front of your house for everyone to see but if I could have a chance and I become super rich as well I would go and buy a engine for the car so I could also experience in driving it myself

And for sure you can see the difference between Max Verstappen to Sergio Perez, as there are many Circuit that favor the Red Bull machine you can see that Sergio Perez is struggling in most of those tracks while Max Verstappen is Grinding most of them like it was nothing, as we can see in most grand prix even though some circuit is not in favor for the Red Bull Max Verstappen has managed to triumph all of that,

I haven't seen it yet but after I watched the trailer I headed and searched Brawn F1 on Google and to my surprise it was now renamed to Mercedes GP because  Mercedes-Benz, in partnership with Aabar Investments had purchased a 75.1% stake in Brawn GP, the team was formed by Ross Brawn of the Honda Racing F1 Team, so that white and yellow-green F1 machine was an original replica for Brawn GP for sure history is really interesting and maybe I will watch that if there are an available episode for sure,

It was mentioned in several of the podcasts I had been watching all week. The manhole covers spotted all over the track, since this was constructed on a city street.

Seems from the first video with Christian Horner who's birthday was mentioned during that interview they will need to extend the Free Practices for tomorrow sounds like the more viable solution for the drivers to get more use to the track.
Because they only got two laps in before the red flag had waved off the race session.

I hope for the safety of racing that we will not get another accident like we had today in Vegas and I do hope some sanctions will be applied to both FIA ( for not being 100% sure about safety of the track and manholes ) but also for the organizer of the race.

Also , the conclusion for Ferrari was the this " Carlos Sainz has received a 10-place grid drop for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, with Ferrari forced to change a host of power unit components following first practice." This is awful for Ferrari and like I said , I do hope FIA will never put again a show in front of safety drivers.

Max talked about Las Vegas being just a show and not a real race is right about it, but he should realize that Monaco was about that for 50 years, does he think that Monaco race is a proper race, there isn't even any proper places to have an overtake, it's famously difficult for overtakes and people just crash or pass each other by undercutting or even overcutting if they are lucky, and hope that the opponent has trouble at pit stop, that's not a real race, it's all about the money.

Or the time they had one f1 race have a bomb go off very near, at jeddah if I remember correctly, literally BOMB, and they still kept going, why? Because they needed the money from them, and kept going anyway, not to make the payers mad.

So all in all, Las Vegas is just another step in that direction, we are seeing F1 turn into just a money machine, and that's good, otherwise if they did what's "right" then max wouldn't get 50 million dollars a year that he is taking each season.

As you can see from the team principle interview, Vasseur was appalled how this situation was handled as now they have to pay for the repairs the track inspectors that the F1 was incharge of in making sure everything was prepared before the race. There was talk about Ferrari wanting to sue the FIA due to what happened to their team which could of ended way worse.

We have some small rumors about Ferrari not racing this weekend if Fia will not remove the penalty for Sainz.

I wonder actually what happens when flooding is near there. I guess no race because a normal car "floats" over them, F1 cars are even lower. I should know it happened to me while back didn't realize one manhole was flooded it looked like a puddle, my car "floated" and almost flew

Yea , this race weekend is quite the mess right ? I mean Ferrari paid a fortune to repair that car just because the authorities didn't make a complete job to secure the safety of their drivers.

Meanwhile , I'm happy to see Leclerc on pole again but I really hope this time he and his team will find a way to actually keep him on podium or even win the race.

Many are Disappointed about this Grand Prix sure and instead of the safety of the drivers they are prioritizing the Las Vegas event for sure, which is down-founded as the worst GP and we can not blame all that on FIA because for sure the place Las Vegas is something really is a big event but it become a disaster,

That is just dangerous for sure and after some digging and research that the drivers were really doubtful when making the event in parts of the Middle East, and this is a protest for the drivers many don't want to risk driving anymore into this dangerous place like this but knowing the big money is always involve whether a race will be held the F1 management have forcefully wanted the drivers to continue, but for sure some drivers are really unhappy in Driving on part of the middle east country,

I think they still joined the final race for Las Vegas, as they don't have any choice at all, the management for Las Vegas might ensure them a big amount just for them to race, and for sure Charles Leclerc is doing fine in this race until Max Verstappen ruined it again by winning the main race, for sure Practice 1 to 3 and Qualifying Charles Leclerc is really dominating this new and unsafe track for sure he is killing it for sure but then Max Verstappen have gotten another win for Red Bull,

For sure the damage on the F1 and the Ferrari was really severe as they needed to replace something on the car, but what if the manhole covers hit Sainz instead I think that is one dangerous thing that happened and they can not say it was because the Track was only new so accidents can surely happen but it is not acceptable that Carlos Sainz gained penalty because of it, which I think it is not really needed, and I think he is not at fault so the penalty is not necessary, this is just my opinion but enlighten me if what is the real reason behind it,

All over in the end and wow so few DNFs I was actually expecting way more supposedly with the wet tracks and risks of accidents nothing really surprising. Leclerc pole but Max wins, maybe the thing to see is Oscar Piastri getting the fastest lap, I really didn't see that coming.

Yeah, it was one of the best races this season. I also was sceptical about Las Vegas, but seems that prejudice isn't good thing. That Leclerc overtake against Perez cherry on top. Interesting how it would ended if Vertappen would helped Perez to defend. But as we saw again, it's not worth to expect such things from Max as he isn't team player.
Wouldn't say that FIA is soft against Max, it's more about how rules are made. Teams with faster cars can afford getting such penalties because for them isn't difficult to gain 5 second advantage and avoid being penalised. If they would impose let's say 30 seconds penalty, similar duration like stop & go penalty, then we would see different image I think.
