For the F1 world championship in the 2023 season it will start in March next month.
It seems that what you said is not quite right because if we do a research of the two teams, the advantage is still held by the team from RedBull over Mercedes.
RedBull is a team that has managed to become the reigning Constructors' champion.
And from the research I did Max Verstappen who raced for the RedBull Racing Team will be the Defending Champion Driver for this season as well as the RedBull Team.
Of course, we definitely have different predictions and research results on the honesty of the F1 world this season, so I really appreciate every opinion and prediction that you or other users make.

From what we could see based on testing, it's gonna be entertaining at the start and up to the end of the first half of the season then it could start to get boring if Verstappen and Red Bull starts pulling away in points.  Merc and Ferrari should up their game in card developmen to give them a fighting chance until the end of the season.  Maybe not this year for Ferrari but Mercedes has some of the best engineers in F1 and one of the best drivers on the grid.  I hope they give RBR a run for their money.

...  For entertainment's sake.  Still want Red Bull to win.

However, it will be fun to follow the team, their new member Piastri is one of the "terrible young" and will give Norris a hard time, I predict that by the end of the season, he can easily stand in front of him.

I'm not sure what you're watching.  Lol.  McClaren sht itself again and Lando Norris is prolly thinking about his dumb decision of signing a long term contract for the team.    That's gonna be more holes on the wall for the guy.  I think his contract runs until 2028..?  Tsk tsk...

I feel like it's both very important and also not that important at the same time. It is important for next week, sure the first race, or even first few races they may look not so great, but if the issues are not design related or season long stuff (like the bouncing they had last season) then it is not really that much of a trouble to fix down the line.

Like gearbox issue? That's nothing, they may even fix it by this weekend, or they could fix it for next race, on the other hand some issues like what Mclaren has looks to be season ending type, like they will definitely be worse this year type of thing. Which is why I am "guessing" that Mercedes will be fine and fighting in the top three by race 5 or so.

I'm already super excited for this F1 season and bro , I do hope Ferrari has the necessary power unit and a capable crew behind to actually lead the team towards another trophy. Sounds a bit as a dream right ? Because I took a closer look of how Redbull atmosphere is so far and , Max , is very calm and quiet which means the car is a beast and has nothing to complain about it haha so I may stick to reality and still bet with Max and Redbull but Bahrain should set up things in 70% perfect of how cars will perform and stand during the race.

Also , eyes close on Aston Martin this season and the next one.

Actually I am siding with Aston Martin this season and have been a turn coat instead for Mclaren due to the upgrades & updates to the F1 crew and drivers they have done going into the 2023 season.

Steve managed to be at the unveiling of their new design and got to meet the new drivers.
Think he had a couple of snaps with both and maybe show them up when he gets a chance too.

It is said that Red Bull are very good in pre-season tests. They already dominated the previous season. I wouldn't be surprised if we come across a similar scenario this year as well. It is said that Aston Martin are also very good this year. The qualifying session tomorrow would give us a clearer information.

IDK why my last comment was deleted, so I'm just going to repeat myself and hope it's OK now.

I'm counting on their Baku upgrade   I know it looks bad ATM, but they do seem hopeful for that set of upgrades that are coming with that race. As they mentioned, they already froze the current design of the MCL60 about a month or two ago, because they realized that they wouldn't get what they were aiming at aerodynamically, which is why they're looking for that race as it will probably represent a drastic change in philosophy for that segment.
