Having problems with blochain.com for days now, unable to sell bitcoins from wallet, the error "ups something happened on our side. Please try again" comes up. Tried many different browsers and used ipad and laptop, no difference. Anyone had this exåeroence, any fix? The arrogant fucking useless bastards running blockcjain apparantly do not think it's important to answer customer inquires.

Any other sites that are better, and has a customer support that actually works? FUCK I've had it with compaines that are unreachable.

And by the way Upgrade00 (I cannot respond to you) of course I alread tried, in a polite manner, 5 times, to "establish contact with the support tem" with no response, as I already wrote initially. Lots of money lost due to this. Now imagine you can't access your bank for weeks and they don't respond to your inquires? Would your language change? I also googled binance and the frustration is high, acc to the feedback the support is "non existing". One user sugfested the best way of getting in contact woth them is to show up at the local bar and hope for the best. Promising.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

This post would be more appropriate in web wallets board, and if you use the type of language you just used, then it's little surprise you have not yet gotten a reply back from their support team. Your best shot would be establishing communication with their service team and asking for a solution.

Any other sites that are better, and has a customer support that actually works?
There are lots of other alternatives for trading cryptocurrency; Binance is a popular option and their support team works good afaik, there are also P2P platforms like bisq and hodlhodl.

Blockchain.com gave you a recovery phrase when you created your wallet. Restore the wallet in another client, such as Electrum. You will have to tick the BIP-39 seed in the options during the restoration process for Electrum to restore the correct wallet. After that, you will be able to send your coins wherever you want. Just make sure you download Electrum from the official site only and verify the signatures as explained here > https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/.

Blockchain.com is famous for issues like this. As for Binance, as long as you're not in their blacklist country the experience is still way better than Blockchain.com.

Where is your location? If you're in the US, Coinbase might be a good alternative. Keep in mind that if you're dealing with crypto-to-fiat transactions, most of the time you'd need to do KYC unless you're dealing with P2P transactions.

Thanks! I'm in Norway. I have bought and sold at Blockchain many times, but now all of a sudden it does not work and no response. By the way I have no idea what KYC or P2P means. I strongly believe that a major drawback of crypto so how f...complicated it is, perhaps not the the IT competent people here but for this to become mainstream it must be so easy my mother can cope. And we are FAR from that. Not impressed with this to be honest. Tried the alternative following the description
https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/
 but simply gave up.:
When installing you only need the Kleopatra component so you can skip the other things included with the software.Download Electrum and also the signature for the file you downloaded. Save both to the same folder.

Run Kleopatra by double clicking on its icon on the desktop. Then click on “lookup on server” on the toolbar and enter Thomas’ GPG public key fingerprint:

There was no choice for "Kleopatra component" no icon for "Kleopatra" created after download, just f...ridiculous. If this is the best these IT can make it's stunning.

Google it. It means you need to submit government issues documents like an ID card or driving license when you are going to buy Bitcoin. Most centralized exchanges require it to buy bitcoin with fiat.

Anyway, I believe still you have access to your wallet. Had you tried to find your seed? You can recover your funds if you have recovery seed if the funds belong to that wallet. Anyway, just use a noncustodial wallet to store your bitcoin for the future.

Please read what I posted. I HAVE issued passport doc etc years ago, AGAIN: I have bought and sold since 2017, but ALL OF A SUDDEN  it does not work. So the issue is not me not beeing verified. Also, I never said I do not have access to my funds, did I? I said I cannot SELL bitcoins, like I have done MANY times. Also, the error states it's something wrong with BLOCKCHAIN SITE, all clear now? "Ups something happened on OUR SIDE, pleae try again..." Noncustodial wallet meaning?? You answer like you work for blochain.com,  not reading the question...

Sometimes you need to learn things and try to explore for you to be able to use. As for p2p, anyone who experience of having a transaction/trade/deal in crypto or not knows that. As for KYC every registered financial services ask this, whether in crypto or not.

And for the verifying of electrum, on what part/# you stopped? I see it as easy as 1, 2, 3 though.

Coolcryptovator was trying to explain what KYC stands for and that you will have to resubmit your identification documents to Binance, Coinbase or whatever exchange you are going to use.
Keep in mind that almost all big exchanges are known to have shitty customer support.

Btw, you can also take a look at localbitcoins and see if you can find traders from your country to trade with (always be extra careful when trading on peer-to-peer exchanges).

Just import your account to another wallet like electrum and send the Bitcoins to Binance (they have p2p platform for trading Bitcoin to fiat) Other p2p platforms are hodlhodl, localbitcoins, localcyptos. I just wanted to provide you with a procedure so that you don't get lost

Just use a much better wallet like Electrum and avoid Blockchain wallet. The issues with synching and showing wrong wallet balances confuses newbies, and they end up losing Bitcoins

First check the available address in your blockchain wallet using a bitcoin explorer like blockchair.com to be sure if it really has the bitcoins. If it does;

1. Export your Bitcoin address from Blockchain wallet, and Import it to Electrum. Head over to your blockchain wallet and select backup funds.

2. Copy your back up phrase, write it down and keep it in a very safe place.

3. Download Electrum from the Official site (https://electrum.org) and verify the GPG signatures depending on your Operating System before installing it just to be sure you installed the right wallet.

4. Once you have installed it, Open Electrum, Select New and then enter your desired account name and click next to create.

5. Select Standard wallet and among the options select "I already have a seed"

6. Enter your 12 word seed and under the seed options button check BIP39 and click on next.

7.  I believe your script type on blockchain wallet was legacy as the default, so you select Legacy (p2pkh) and the derivation Path stays as m/44'/0'/0'

8. Enter your desired wallet password, click next to create the wallet. You should be able to see your bitcoins and spend them. If are not able to see your bitcoins, check the addresses in the wallet to see if one of them was your default address in the blockchain wallet.
