8 pin to 2x8 (6+2) would be better. Just make sure to count the wires to make sure they didnt cheat
by only using 6 wires. They're great for splitting single 8 pin cables to 8+6 or 8+8.
what how and why do i need to count wires ?!? i will only use them to feed 6 pin risers (two risers only) is what ur suggesting really necessary to do ?!?... my second best option it to just get them refunded and order them elsewhere maybe u guys can recommend coz i dont have time (flying soon) or the knowledge to learn tech stuff atm tbh...
thanks,
Some cables (PSU and splitter) cheap out and use 6 wires for 8 pins. Those have a lower power limit and shouldn't be split
8+8 or 8+6. True 8 pin cables are no problem. For your current intended use it doesn't really matter but they may come in handy
in the future. You can also infer higher quality cables generally if they don't squeeze 2 pins through one wire.
