Currently there are more than 12k altcoins, for 2021 I have invested around $650 in altcoins, and I invested for 10 coins, and of the 10 coins I bought in 2021 only 2 of the most profitable are Shiba Inu and HEX.

That's only a short-term gain, because next year will not necessarily experience a better increase in these two coins, so I still enjoy more profits on coins like BTC and ETH in the short and long term, because they are also very frequent experienced a very good increase this year.

The level of risk is more higher from those two above mentioned coins, while with bitcoin and ETH I agree both long and short term you are capable to earn a decent amount of profits, we all witness how great both ETH and BTC after losing some momentum last September again we are witnessing the bull,  speculators predict that it will last till the first quarter of 2022 before experiencing another market corrections.

If you gain here or if you lose, both will be your responsibility. So it would be better if you make your own decision after understanding it well. However, it is extremely perilous to promote some initiatives that have recently been launched or are still in the works because they are risky and may turn out to be a failure in the end. As a result, if a beginner is present, it is preferable to propose altcoins that are at the top or leaderboards of altcoins. Not undermine your motivation . but if you invest with that value, maybe in my opinion the results are still not too much if you want to invest in top-ranked coins. But you can try to learn to trade daily with profits you can do many times. But still with the basis of knowledge and analysis you must be good so as not to suffer losses. Nice way looking for in this forum about good coin to buy but 20$ is not enough to get much profit exactly with top 10 ranked coin on coinmarketcap, I think $200 and use all in one coin only where you thinks is very potential altcoin to buy, maybe you can earn profit about 5% and maybe can up more than 10% and you can get profit almost $20, if you use with small fund and invest with several altcoin I think is not worth with little fund.

Really, investing little ($200) the return is minimal. He can risk 200 dollars on a single currency and try to make a bigger profit, but it's riskier, I personally prefer security, so I like to invest in more than one option.

Even if we give you some suggestions, I don't think you can manage how to trade and how to deal with different situations that could happen in the market. I would recommend to make sure you are prepared to face the worst outcome in trading scene, make sure to learn properly on trading to do what happen like reading chart, cut loss etc. It's for your own sake.

You never saw anyone failed through polkastarter before? That sounds like an impossible thing. How is it that every project gets the funding they need? It seems either people are throwing money at projects and will never see a return or polkadot has an amazing project analyst.
