Yes there are numerous projects that have been created throughout the years by lowlife degenerates who think it is OK to steal other people's money just because they call it "luck"
. Of course none of them work because of the security that a 256-bit elliptic curve such as the one bitcoin uses provide.
I mean I called it a lottery for a reason... All the programs that I seem to find are linux based. Are you aware of any Windows with a GUI. I know its a super longshot.
As for your feelings regarding the people that make these programs, I completely understand. I wont debate the ethics of this right now.
I will leave you with this thought though, better thieves make better security. If for some reason, a way was found to find private keys faster than we currently think, or some method of "brute" forcing was proven to be more effective than it should be (as technology progress's) then I would hope bitcoin could fork and build a wall against this. (Mainly thinking of quantum computing, but hey, maybe some powerful AI will be developed soon...)
