Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin?

Bitcoin might be 100k by the time this goes live...or worth much less  . I think I'd purchase one if they roll this out in the UK. I want a cyber truck so I'm hoping they scale them down a little and release them in the UK as they'd be too big for UK roads right now. Buying a cyber truck with bitcoin would definitely seem like the future  .

The logistics is going to be expensive especially with Tesla since it is an American company so imports is going to be expensive, if the logistics weren't a problem and I have the bitcoin to buy one then I might go for it but the reality of the situation is stronger, I don't have enough bitcoin and imported cars are far more expensive compared to local brands that are already established, not to mention that a Tesla in my crime ridden country is going to be a target for many car thieves so I guess I won't be buying a Tesla car with bitcoin.

Tesla have many car showrooms in the UK with a fleet of cars already available so they do the importing. Most car companies don't manufacture in the UK these days anyway and I think Tesla is opening up a gigafactory in Berlin so that will cover their Europe-wide base.

From what I understand, a decent Tesla car costs around $100,000 in the United States. So here in India, the prices can be at least 50% to 60% higher. And the average annual income stands at $1,000 per year. At this point, I don't think that a lot many people would go for Tesla in India. Also who will spend their Bitcoins on an asset which will get depreciated after every year, especially when we are all expecting a very significant bull rally?

The Cybertruck was quoted as being about half that at surprisingly around 50k, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't more than that on launch. Hopefully they can keep the costs reasonable. I wouldn't buy one at $100k but 50k is definitely reasonable and I would have no problem spending 1 bitcoin on one. Obviously you're going to have to have a bit of money to be able to buy one but people do buy new cars and since this is something new and unique it's going to be a while before you can pick them up on the second-hand market. If there's a shortage of them which I think there will be they might even go for much more initially until they can meet demand. As for spending bitcoins, people are going to want to cash them out at some point or spend them on something and I see nothing better than at least supporting a company that has taken the risk to both buy into bitcoin and actually accept it as payment which you can't ask for anything more from a company. I hope there's actually a lot of people buying Teslas (and other things) with bitcoin in the future as it gives it more weight as a currency or a payment medium at least rather than something that people just hodl till they die.

If you are running a company that allows bitcoin payment you would convert them to fiat as soon as the sales takes place, you are not going to hold them because it is a high volatile market and what happens the market crashes all of a sudden and they will report a financial loss because of their inability and it will affect their stock price as well and their overall performance.

I think a lot of people bought tesla with bitcoin. Elon Musk will make a lot of money from this topic. He would not have made such a move if he was not sure that bitcoin would increase.

I used to think the price was 20k. $ is huge for bitcoin, now it costs more than 50k ; so if I had bitcoins I would wait a little longer and buy a few Tesla cars for 1 BTC but unfortunately I don't have any

For me, yes, I'll wait for $100k and it will really a big news. Buying car with tesla isn't a big thing and its like spending crypto which is much more important now. If I need, I'll be able to buy tesla by fiat currency.

If only I had Bitcoins then I will surely buy one but of course after I got and settled all my priorities in life. Having a Tesla car isn't that easy for its maintainance since it is a liability. Therefore, if I had Bitcoins, my family's needs first and then Tesla car if ever then with those glass windows that don't break.😅✌️ I'm not feeling sorry if ever I buy one with BTC because my family is not crypto friendly so leaving my BTC on my wallet for a long period of time will be lost forever if I pass away.😁

Tesla S-class may be a good choice for millionaires who want to show-off, but not for the vast majority of the cryptocurrency users. $100K can be a fortune in many of the poor nations, and that may be equivalent to 50 years of annual wages in countries such as India and Bangladesh. Those who can afford it can purchase a Tesla to show their gratitude. But people like me would like to wait for another 2-3 years, before we take such a step. I think it not profitable if you buy a tesla today because there's a chance that the bitcoin will surpass the 60k USD if it a chance to have this for sure there is another pump for the 100k USD imagine you bought tesla with the worth of 10 BTC and then pump to 100k your 10 BTC can buy more 3-5 tesla. (This is just an explanation i don't really know the price of the tesla terms of bitcoin), again the market is volatile anything can happen with the market movements so keep aware of the possible outcome its good to hold or sell your coins already.

Obviously yes, If the value of BTC is around 6 digits like 100k USD then buying Tesla using BTC is not really a problem. However, tesla is no longer accepting BTC as a form of payment when you want to avail of their products so it's not really possible now.

Obviously yes, If the value of BTC is around 6 digits like 100k USD then buying Tesla using BTC is not really a problem. However, tesla is no longer accepting BTC as a form of payment when you want to avail of their products so it's not really possible now.

If the price of Bitcoin reaches the price range you said it will be easy to buy Tesla vehicle and it was Tesla that stop the integration of Bitcoin as payment but that doesn't mean they can accept crypto credit cards.
