There are World Cup qualifiers taking place today onwards until next week. Which games are the ones that stand out for you? Here are the two games in the coming days that I will be looking out for:

Andorra vs England

Turkey v Norway is the most important one tomorrow I think. Because it is a very crucial match for both teams in terms of having the advantage over the other one in their group. Turkey will want to get an absolute win here to take the 2nd place from Norway. Considering the fact that Norway's last group match is going to be against Netherlands, Turkey can have a big chance to qualify for the main tournament. I expect them to win this.

Andorra and England match in my opinion is like a dwarf against a giant and clearly in terms of the squad, england much better than Andorra, but Andorra could surprise England in that match, because andorra who is currently ranked 5th in the group standings will certainly try to get points in order to at least increase their chances of qualifying, although it is a bit impossible but I think they can still improve their position on the condition that they are no longer allowed to lose points in the rest of the match.

Turkey has 3 matches remaining now and there is very little chance that they may be able to overtake Norway. For Turkey, the remaining matches are against Latvia, Gibraltar and Montenegro (in that order). For Norway, the opponents are Montenegro, Latvia and Netherlands. Turkey has a chance of remaining in this tournament only of they win all three of their remaining matches.

Even a few days ago, the Turkish team was very good. But now they have lost the rhythm very badly. They have lost against Wales and Switzerland and drawn with Montenegro. They have conceded six goals against the Netherlands. I also thought they would get back on track with a win against the Norwegian team. As the Norwegian team was a bit weak except for their key players. But Turkey could not win this match. I would say it's their bad luck.

After a management change, I was expecting to see a better performance from Turkey. They were really good sometimes during the match but didn't play very good in general. They scored an early goal and had the psychological advantage too. But they made a huge mistake after the goal. They started letting Norway come to them. Even without Haaland and Sörloth, Norway still got one point by equalizing the score. Now, Turkey are in a problematic condition. Because if they and Norway win until the last group matches, they will hope Norway to lose to Netherlands and they will have to win their match to take the second place and qualify for the World Cup in that case.

A part Montenegro maybe, the other 2 games for Turkey aren't hard but I cannot trust them any more personally to win any game with their poor performance. For Norway, Netherlands' match is gonna be hard, not sure if Haaland will be able to participate on it or not.
Tomorrow's games are kinda boring with almost clear favourites in every match. In the other international competitions, Argentina failed to win vs Paraguay and tomorrow they will face Uruguay. Not sure about the odds for the first game but Argentina odds @1.6 vs Uruguay @5.6. Ok Argentina didn't lost any game so far but a draw is possible too, does draw or Uruguay @2.2 worth the risk?

Turket need a very urgent victory for pulling themselves together and maintaining their chance to qualify for the main tournament also. They must win all of their matches left without looking at the scores of the other matches in their group. As long as they win all of their matches one by one, they will most probably be able to qualify for the tournament. Because Norway can lose points against Netherlands on the last week most probably.

Above is a set of today's World Cup qualifiers in Africa and South America. In South America, I bet on the victories of Brazil and Ecuador. Brazil has won all the matches so far in the qualifying rounds and, although Colombia, especially at home, can be a threat to any opponent, they should also win today. England scored 5 goals past Andorra. With a stronger team selection it could easily gone in to double figures. It is easy for England to win a game like that with a weaker opponent using a weakened team but when they play against the bigger teams they will have to put their best team forward otherwise it will be another case of getting so close yet being so far (as against Italy in the Euro 2020 final)

I'm glad I cancel my bet for this game, Cyprus was winning and honestly I thought the game would end with Cyprus' victory, but Malta managed to score just when there were a few minutes to go.

The Brazilians are already sure of a promotion to the World Cup, but they will certainly not give up the game to their eternal rival and will want to get revenge for defeat in the Copa America final. Argentina will practically secure its promotion to the World Cup if it wins. I bet on the victory of the hosts.

I was wondering where is that topic every time I see discussion about African or American teams in the UEFA qualifiers topic because I remember having a general one.
Brazil already qualified for World Cup so I don't know how serious will go against Argentina. Even bookies are backing Argentina @2.37 vs @3.45 for Brazil which is kind of crazy imo.
For African qualifiers, I find out that Ivory Coast didn't qualify. South Africa was only 1 goal ahead from qualifying, otherwise I see known teams leading each group, they generally qualify to World Cup but they have to go for play-offs first.

Portugal losing its last qualifier round is really unexpected. Serbia had made its way and got qualified for the world cup. Now it's hard time for Portugal, because the possible way is to take a chance and reach through the playoff match. Portugal made its goal by the very second minute of the match, but the final goal from Aleksandar Mitrović at the unexpected time made everything upside down.

@romero121 it’s clear that Portugal played in over confidence, and they clearly underestimated Serbia and in the end they paid the price for their over confidence by losing the match, and risking their entry in next year’s World Cup.

Furthermore I don’t think that it was about the money, because I believe it’s was more about the glory of beating Portugal and making a name for themselves in the process.
