Many neutrals would have put down current world champions France to make another semi-final but how many at the beginning of the tournament would have guessed Morocco would be flying the flag for the African continent becoming the first African nation to make it to a world cup semi-final or that Croatia would be here again alongside Argentina?

Still, Morocco's dream lives on. A brilliant performance from Morocco. It was more important for players to die than to lose. In addition to making the semi-finals, Morocco could also reach the finals. Now that African teams understand this is possible, I hope they will take advantage of it. I hope more than ever that Morocco is confident that it will win the World Cup.

There have been some great underdog stories at the World Cup, but this is up there with the best. There is no comparison to the sheer drama, the shocks, and the tensions that surround this show.

I think Croatia might have more of a chance than what the lines are showing us.  I see Croatia ML at 5 in some books, sometimes bit more but it's kinda risky.  I fancy Croatia but as a tad safer value bet, what do you guys think of Croatia double chance and both teams to score combo at 3.70?  

And in the other semi final, what does everybody think of France win to nil at 2.17?  Good bet or will Morocco continue to surprise everybody again.  :/

On a normal level, I personally would say that it is practically impossible for Morocco to beat France, but from the way they've played their matches so far, beating many top teams and finding their way into the semi finals, I wouldnt be surprised if they end up beating France and making it to the finals, and possibly winning the world cup, winning the world cup will indeed shake the entire Moroccan nation, and would bring honor to african football teams.

I personally wish them luck in their game against France tomorrow, alot of fingers are crossed for them even here in Nigeria, the joy would be overwhelming if they succeed in making it to the finals.

It is difficult to guess, especially such complex bets. I am attracted to a simple bet on France to win with odds of 1.53. I think you will agree that before the start of the World Cup, such a bet would look like free money. It's funny that a double chance for France or a draw comes with only 1.08 odds - there's no point in risking an 8% profit.

I would just say don't be so sure about Argentina.  

Because we have all seen what Croatia have done so far. They weren't given much chance against Brazil in the previous round. I was also expecting a win by Brazil thanks to a dominant performance. But Croatia just played in the way they needed to do. Their defending was solid against Brazil. Even when Brazil found the goal Croatia still stayed in the match and answered minutes before the end. They will try to use the same formula against Argentina as well. If this match also ends by penalties then we never know which side would advance. Messi will have a really big responsibility to end the match before the match goes to that point.

Argentina had difficulties in defense against Netherlands as they lost their 2-0 advantage so easily. They need to be more careful this time.

But who would have thought that Morocco could enter the semi-finals after beating Portugal 1-0 it was a fantastic victory, however, Portugal is a strong opponent but they can still be beaten by Morocco. it was thanks to the goal scored by Youssef En-Nesyri.

Morocco is the team that has never conceded a goal during a match. Morocco was able to score four goals and conceded one goal in the group phase which was then followed by defeating Spain with a final score of 0-0 and beating Portugal 1-0. Amroko's conceded goal was not the result of other players but an own goal scored by Nayef Aguer who turned a Kanda player's cross into his own goal.
Morocco made new history by entering the semifinals of the 2022 world cup, it was truly extraordinary, and became one of the strongest teams at the moment. In the semifinals, we have to wait for the Amroko Vs France match and it will be a tense game.

I know that it will be a difficult challenge for Argentina against Croatia but I am sure for the one reason and that is the best of the best the GOAT Lionel Messi, Messi has one special thing and that is when some disrespect him aur any miss behavior from other coaches or crowd which hurt Messi ego then he respond with a phenomenal performance and the example are available against real Madrid , Bilbao, Athletico Madrid, So this time also some crowd hurt the Messi ego which has been shown clearly by Messi celebration after Netherland win , so that the reason I am sure that messi will lonely Handel this old man's team Croatia....

Croatia are a really team that the other teams should be very careful against. I would like to remind you that they were one of the finalists in the 2018 World Cup. Maybe France beat them there but Croatia already proved themselves. By the way there is still a possibility for another France - Croatia finale.    Croatia might be really annoying as they are adopting a very defensive game plan. It is boring to me as well but the important thing for them is if they get efficiency from this.

It worked against Brazil and it can work against Argentina as well. Argentina will need to find a goal as early as possible to catch them by surprise. Right after that they need to maintain their pressure to score the second one. If they can't break Croatia's guard early then they might be in big trouble.

It is difficult to guess, especially such complex bets. I am attracted to a simple bet on France to win with odds of 1.53. Yeah I know.  It's just from what we've been seeing with Croatia in the tourney, it seems like the books have been giving them less credit than what they can really do on the pitch.  This is just imho, but I think Croatia's midfield has been playing a tad better than Argentina's midfield.  I'm expecting an outcome something like what happened vs Brazil.

If we see a finale like Croatia - Morocco then I swear I wouldn't even watch that match.    Because it would have been like the most boring finale ever in the World Cup. There is even a meme shared by this Twitter profile  :



In my opinion, France will absolutely get past the Morocco obstacle successfully. Hence I see them in the finale already now. To me there are two possibilities for the finale:

- Argentina vs France
- Croatia vs France

Both of them are likely to be seen of course. Croatia will need to do the same they did to Brazil indeed but we will see how successful they will be. But Croatia's current 4.75 odd seems really worth giving it a try.    Bookmakers underestimate them too much currently.

I am not betting on both to score in Argentina - Croatia match. Argentina has some of the lowest xG conceded in the tournament and Croatia hasn't really been that good in attack. We were very good in taking our chances but we did not create that much chances. This game could end up 0:0 in regular time easy, I know we believe in our ability to take up anybody on penalties and I think we would take those penalties all the way to the final without complains. That means it is all up to Argentina and I don't see them going all in as well.

I am not even going to bet on the semi-finals. I know that I would hit it right, Argentina to win and France to win, that is likely the outcome and I am sure about it but I am not going to bet on it at all.

Because, we have ended up with so many losses so far with the unexpected results that I just have one more money to bet, and I want that to be the final game. I am going to wager on the final game and see if I will recover all my money or not, if not then I am just going to take the loss and move on, if I do then this world cup wasn't for nothing. France seems like the likely winner of the cup, and has been even before the cup started, so I am going to hope for that.

I agree with Trofo, and I'm not sure BTS is a good ideal. Argentina will most likely score, but I can't say the same for Croatia. I'm just going to let this one fly because I've checked the entire market and there is no valuable bet on any of the possible outcomes. I'm just picturing " Argentina to be awarded penalty" market in my head because Croatian plays a big defensive line and I see them making some stupid mistakes. The heart of the Croatian team is in the midfield; take Modric and Kovasic out of the equation and you have a team to beat easily, but who in Argentina's midfield is up to the task?

You are saying that Morocco is going to lift the trophy this time? I would love that, but the chances are too low. Correct me if I am wrong. As far as I know, ever since the world cup started, only UEFA and CONMEBOL teams have won it. Have there been any exceptions to this? Forget about the world cup winners. I don't think that any team outside the UEFA and CONMEBOL even managed to feature in the final. That said, it will be a tough task for Morocco to get past France (perhaps the strongest UEFA team in this tournament).
