No I would not be happy, I have plenty of BTC & I’m ready for (wanting) much higher prices. The only people who want the price to go lower are people actively shorting or people who don’t have enough (or any) BTC & want cheap coins.

Thanks mate, me I would be happy, I'm not shorting bitcoin but I see that as another opportunity to accumulate as I believe even if bitcoin fall at $10k, it will still make a new ATH and we might be in $100k the next time it will pump.

We don't know what would happen next, we have different interest in short term but in long term we are in common.

yeah it's sad to see that the price still lowering to 52k now and looks like there are still a warning of falling down .
Those people who had sold their coins back in December as weak hands are those people who wanted price to fell down to 10k so they can correct their mistakes and also those Bag holders that loves seeing the price going pumping and dumping .

I do not see this as question because it is like a question that the answers are already known. If you have a lot of bitcoin already, or altcoins, you will wish the price to crash. If you do not have money to invest when the price fall, you will not care, but if you have money, not invested yet, you will want the price to crash to less than $10000 or below for you to have a proper time to invest for profit.

If Bitcoin dropped to $10k from over $50k this could only mean that the majority of the community have lost confidence in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in general, and it will take a lot of work or a big miracle to get the market back to its stable price, I don't want Bitcoin to dropped to that low, Bitcoin has achieved a lot for it to go back where it has started if it will go down $30k, is the reasonable price.

I would be happy if it will dump so I will make more bitcoin through campaigns, and always it gives me a chance to buy more and be able to pay my loan easily, right now, I really struggle paying it due to a high price of bitcoin so I'm hoping for that time to come, sorry a bit focus on myself but that is my honest answer.

Why are you people finding such strange levels of support? Why 10 thousand? Is 10 a significant level? we held 12 thousand for 4 months straight in 2020 and the 2019 top was 14 thousand so why is 10 such an important low for you? Maybe it's just a random number that came into your heads?

10 is almost impossible now after Tesla, Microstrategy, PayPal, and now also Visa integrating payments. If we could go to 20 thousand in 2017 and to 14 in 2019 before these companies made their moves it's impossible for us to go back there without them exiting.

I wouldn't be happy because it would mean that something bad is happening to Bitcoin. A drop to 20 thousand would mean a normal bear market bottom, but 10 would break the 10 year market structure. This wouldn't happen without a big event like a world war or something.

Definitely not. $51k is in and likely to go down $50k again. Those who have missed buying bitcoin at the lowest will definitely be happy to see that drop and there will be more FUD again in the market after seeing the price to be down as it is today.
I guess this is already the month that has been compared with the same month last year but this is still way better than that.

$10 000 has always been a very important psychological barrier, and before that the same thing happened with $1000. People are always weak at such numbers, and that will never change. If you ask people what interests them most at the moment, I believe many would ask the question "When BTC $100k"?

There is definitely truth in what you wrote, because such a big correction would mean that something terrible happened, maybe not exclusively related to Bitcoin, but something like declaring a world pandemic. I agree that there is too much money in the game right now, and that it is definitely not as easy to manipulate the market as it used to be.

Personally, I wouldn't be happy for the reasons I've already mentioned above, but I would accept it as something that's quite normal when it comes to Bitcoin - I remember a time when its price was below $200, so I wouldn't consider $10 000 an absolute tragedy if I considered only the price as such.

Not that I'm courting danger, but actually yeah, I probably would be shitting my pants at first, but if it does drop to $10k it'll have to be a severe bottom, signalling yet another bull run coming in another few months. You know, like how it was in March 2020. I was crapping for a few moments but the bounce was encouraging, and all signs after as well.

It better damn well happen near my invoicing period though!

I have two feelings if I see bitcoin dropped to $10k. First feeling, I do not sell all of my bitcoin and still have the bitcoin in my wallet. And the second feeling, I am happy to buy bitcoin at $10k and hold it although I do not know how long I will hold my bitcoin, but I hope that will not takes too long so that I can sell it once the price increase.

But no matter what will happen to bitcoin, I will follow the journey, and I hope I can use the chance to buy low and sell high. But I wonder if that can happen this year because we already reach $50k.

At the moment I am investing mainly in altcoins, so if this decline in the Bitcoin price would not negatively affect the prices of other cryptos, I would be very happy, because with $10k per BTC, I would definitely transfer all my funds here. But I'm afraid it's very unlikely that we'll ever see a price $10k / BTC again, even with a very long bear market.

no, i will be very confused because there is a difference between price dropping and price crashing super hard.

of course i will always be happy to see a price drop but only when the drop size is reasonable. that's because i can obviously buy more bitcoin with the money that i don't have right now but will have in the future (i dump extra fiat i have regularly).

but such an unreasonable and massive drop to a price that is way below the intrinsic value of bitcoin would surprise me and would make me wonder what the hell is wrong with people for selling like that!

lets say you had to pay $500 for an apartment and suddenly they started asking for $80 (same dump as your example). wouldn't you wonder what is wrong with that apartment for dumping that much?
now if the dump was to $450 that would be a different story.
or if the apartment was asking for $1500 then it dumped down to $500 then it was again another story entirely because the initial value was too high to begin with.
in case of bitcoin $60 is too low.

Since you are looking for hypothetical answers you will get different responses, the price right now is above $50k and we know that the price would rally even if there is a major correction, so i would be happy to enter the market what ever be the price after the major correction and i will be holding the coins till the next halving.

First and foremost do you think the price would drop to $10k, if that is the case you will hear the naysayers calling the market the biggest bubble and i am not expecting the price to go that down.

Depends on how the drop is defined as a year ago it was a good trade and quick a brief sell off to the extreme lows.   If you like trading then some people will definitely appreciate this occurring for the price difference they can realise in their trades.    A longer period would remove some confidence as to how this happens but a price of any asset can move to any level, depends on volume also and extreme events in price context.
  I would quite surprised if we moved past the 200 day average for the whole of 2021 even if negative from now on that'd be quite alot to turn around and trade below.   I dont think we will just quite a few have got used to sugar high and think its always going to be that way, normal boring ever lower markets is just part of the weather pattern.

$10k can only happen if the fundamentals of Bitcoin would break. So yes I would not be happy....
