Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain?

the Ethereum transaction fee is what is making alot of people and projects to prefer Binance smart chain , aside from this i dont think there is any other edge. for me i am ethereum lover but the gas fee is way too much. i still use it but not like the binance smart chain.

I do not subscribe to the idea that one is better between Ethereum and Binance smart chain. I believe they compliment each other. Binance smart chain is an improvement on the shortcomings of ethereum, while ethereum is hosting the BNB on its network.

BSC is more centralized than Ethereum. Also, it has lot fewer projects on its platform compared to Ethereum. Apart from high gas fees, Ethereum remains the better choice.

By the terms of service i would say ETH and BNB are both good coins but when transaction fees are requiring by these moment traders do prepared to used Binance Smart Chain because they have low cost fees, fast and easy way to trade while ETH have highly cost fees which is the only problem they have.

It depends on my transaction volume. If I have to swap a very large sum and if I have to choose between Ethereum or Binance, I would decide for Ethereum because from a crypto perspective, we should always select more decentralized solutions. Binance Chain is very cheap but it is not what we finally want because it can be controlled by Binance simply. It is not how a decentralized finance looks like.
Ethereum is decentralized but very high fees, so at a low sum to swap, I would use Binance but don't like it because it's controlled by Binance.

Apart from ETH and BNB, I like much more Avalanche [AVAX]. It is a new chain, launched last year late summer and has a very good DeFi because fees are low, fast and it is decentralized. I can really recommend Avalanche because it has so many improvements over ETH and BNB.

the best remains ethereum. the smart chain looks like it's centered. but for now ethereum is having a bit of a problem. but slowly the problem has started to disappear because the GAS fee has started to return to normal. if that problem is resolved, smart chains will not be able to compete with ethereum.

Smart chain is being used by many shitcoins today because of its popularity, but sooner or later if that network continues to produce shitcoins, they may also experienced big problem. With regards to Fees, ETH are stabilizing now and its good that we are slowly getting back to normal, I still see ETH Network are more valuable compare to Smart Chain, at least for this year, since I can't tell the future.

Agreed, basically it's not only about the scalability but how good the platform to be used to build dapps. Various reasons must be considered as the factors to determine which was better between BSC and ethereum.
I just remind you that the little shrimp will always hate to pay more than what they wanna try to send through ethereum blockchain.

Still far from end users though due to this high fees being practical gives some developers to use BSC as alternatives, there are now growing

I don't see anything that's outdated in eth despite the TPS itself that's kinda low, even BSC itself actually just a hf from current ethereum with some flavour which if i'm being frank not that different, if any it's just BSC have higher tps and rather centralized that allows it to be faster than ETH however once full implementation of eth 2.0 done like side chain or sharding BSC will simply become outdated while ETH becoming stronger than ever.
If what you're talking about new innovations in BSC are those nft marketplace and swap that coming up everyday and was meant to be money grab, I don't think that's really an innovation.

for now, I only see it in terms of fees. for BSC, it is very cheap, but because it is new, so there are not many projects that use the platform. however, for ETH, currently, there are so many projects that use it, and because there are too many fees, the fees are higher than BSC. both of these have advantages and disadvantages each. The difference between the two is emphasized on the difference in the proof-of-work system by ETH and the proof-of-stake system that has been implemented by BSC. Actually both are good when it comes its technology, but if we will make a comparison which is better between ETH and BSC of course for now it will be the BSC because of cheap fees unlike ETH wherein still so expensive , but i believe soon when all becomes normal with ethereum surely binance will be the second option again and cannot take over ether for long time because of being so advanced and secured whenever you use it..
