I think this exhibition match will be just some warm-up-like fight because these guys' popularity is still there and there will be a large number of people that will gonna watch this. they will surely earn some money and popularity with this. If ever they have any plan to run for any government officials, they will get some supporters with this upcoming fight.

I mean, isn't that how exhibition match is supposed to work, yes you are serious but you also have to be entertaining, and they are guaranteed with money in this fight, what else could be the reason that they are accepting this exhibition match. If the entire fight purse is going to charity then i am going for a draw rather than selecting anyone to win the fight as that is the trend we are seeing in exhibition matches, if not i would have gone with Miguel Cotto to win the fight as he is a much bigger fighter and the fight will be promoted as  Puerto Rico v Mexico to get the fans interested.

That's his personal opinion, and actually we don't know if its scripted or not, but one thing is sure is that the fight is not that exciting compared to a real or a championship fight. Two old heads in boxing going for an exhibition match sounds like fun. I do not expect explosive power from these two anymore since they're way past their prime (especially Marquez) though I still expect to see a good bout especially on their footwork and how they carry themselves in the ring. In terms of raw power, I'd place my bet on Cotto. He's a good all-rounder too, and excels mostly on speed. A good match, I should say, and perhaps a good match to throw a couple bucks at and just enjoy the show.

Almost all people who do made up some post on this thread do look negatively for these kind of exhibition fights but it turns out to be totally opposite for you and youre enjoying it instead.
When it comes to power then i would really be favoring Cotto but i cant really just ignore on how well Marquez is even though this is an exhibition match and theyre already past
