Hi guys,
Can't login to my Kraken account, "invalid username or password" error. Have any of you guys had this issue?

I'm t sure thath I entering the correct username and password, I get the "invalid username or password" error every time I try. i also checked the status of the kraken servers and all they running correctly at the moment

I have attempted username recovery and requested temporary OTP in hopes that would help somehow, but after waiting an hour I still didn't get either to my e-mail. E-mails from Kraken do come through, since I got a support ticket confirmation immediately after submitting it. I'd appreciate any feedback from you guys, have any of you experienced something like this with Kraken?
is it possible that the Kraken is trying to steal my money?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Kraken is a reputable exchange but I wouldn't be surprised if they're actually trying to selectively scam you. A lot of exchanges does that, but I wouldn't be paranoid if I were you, unless the amount is too big.

Have you tried reaching out to them through the chat though? IIRC, they have a live chat, you can use that for a faster response.

Kraken exchange recently had scheduled maintenance and maybe that was the problem or maybe you have your caps lock turned on, but if that is not the case then try contacting Kraken support
and escalate your Kraken support ticket, or ask them on their Twitter accounts.

Exchange users usually experience this issue when an exchange scheduled maintenance but the Kraken scheduled maintenance was over 12hours ago.
I will advise you try to sign in to the account again but if the problem still exists contact them using the escalate your Kraken support ticket provided by the above user which is the better way to get their attention.

yes I have already opened 2 tickets in their support, but I did't receive an email notification, as has been the case so far. The Kraken live chat is boot, that resend me into their support to open a ticket. Yes the amount  is not to small.

It never happened to me but I remember the case of someone here with the same problem as yours (see KRAKEN - hacked account??? (invalid login)) .  It turned out that his/her account was compromised, and from what I supposed at this time, the email account used with Kraken was too. Giving access to the thief to do anything he wanted to.
Here is another case similar Kraken.com always the error: Invalid username or password. I could find a few other examples if I search for more

To speak with an agent from the chat you need to trigger the right keyword or "force" the bot to propose an agent. I just tried right now and was able to speak with an agent if I wanted to

If you do remember up your credentials then you wont be having a problem on retreiving back the account.
For Support ticket then there's no other option but you would need to wait until they respond.

my email has been compromised, most likely from my window pc and hackers changed my password to a Kraken account,even then I reinstalled a window and changed my gmail password, but i also use 2FA for login as additional protection. But google authorizer is installed on a different phone which is used only for this purpose 2FA and nothing else, so I think hackers impossible to access my 2FA key. Now kraken have locked my account and i am waiting for aditional instructions, but I'm worried about it. My question is: is there a way to log in to my kraken account without 2FA?

If you have enabled your Master Key before the event when your account has been compromised, them it is most likely that you can easily bypass the 2FA when logging in.

The "Master Key" settings can be found on your Name(upper right corner) --> 2FA Settings --> Master Key toggle for ON/OFF. Note that your account's master key is different from the 2FA you have set before your account gets compromised. Unfortunately, If you can't remember that you have done it before, then your only option is to wait for the customer's support response.

I don't remember to activating a master key, maybe that's why they managed to change my password, but did they can access to login without 2FA?
