I keep feeling hesitated and crypto keeps growing, enough is enough, I'm new to this space and I'm looking into investing in altcoins, I have 1200$ in USDT right now and I can only take risk with 200$, I'm looking into vechain and harmony, looking forward to hear from people on here, are these two altcoins worth the risk? I don't know about Harmony but I've seen VET being discussed often in a crypto group that I joined (not some pump/dump or shill group). It's highly suggested to accumulate and build volume as early as you can.

Just joking. All coin you see have potential to go up. Vechain is a good coin, but it has already earned 800% this year. If it tries to increase to $1, that mean it will receive a growth of 10000%. Harmony is also the same. What about invest in new project? amepay is a good one. And do not put all of your money in one bad. With $1200 usdt, you can split your balance to 5 smaller parts. There are more than 1000 coins/tokens on coinmarketcap and I bet you can find a good coin for yourself.

DO not hesitate there are so many things to learn in Cryptocurrency even those so-called matured or old members are still learning new knowledge that is coming in, since you mentioned investing, you should be the one to do your own research, don't just follow and hear what they are saying check if the advice you are receiving is really worth it, the most important thing is to only invest what you can afford to lose, and you will only get comfortable if you know what you are investing.

Better to "risk" the $200 on useful cryptocurrency projects that have little/to no risk.   And I would invest that on True Cryptocurrency projects that are based on Bitcoin Principles/ideals like Decentralization, transparency, immutablity, censorship resistant, privacy/anonymity, safety, fair rules, permissionless/trustless,  public concensus, deflationary coins/token, etc.
If you find such projects, make sure they very useful, safe, have dedicated and well principled teams who will never compromise on the important ideals... then you can invest that amount long-term

To earn high profit easily in crypto is hard to achieve, especially when your talking about investing altcoins and youre new in crypto, because some coins is new and on its  process. It needs longer time to hold until gaining the high value in the market which needs patience and knowledge.As of now it is good to invest bitcoin because as we see its value,still on top and one of the most demand in crypto. For sure you will get high profit in it.

Vechain and Harmony is a very good project since they are both blockchain project which aims to solve Scalability problem of crypto market but your target price is not proportion to the total supply of the coin.

Personally, I have not come across these coins and am investing in other coins such as BNB. Since there are many people around this coin now who are watching the BNB coin with interest, it will soon rise in value. So personally, I recommend investing in BNB and making big profits in the future.

$200 seems a good start for you to take the risk with those altcoins. Looks like you're only on that amount for a short term and check their charts but I doubt that Vechain will be $1 in weeks' time. The price is $0.09 and it will take time before seeing it go $1.
If you think that it's not yet late on Ethereum then buy it, it's going to show the next few days how volatile it is.

Hello, in my opinion, both coins you have chosen are very promising and worth investing in them. As for VeChain, I wouldn't predict when it could break up to $ 1, but I think Harmony will have a big jump in 1 year or so.

In addition to these two coins, I would also recommend the EXMO exchange own coin, EXM.

Exactly, I have seen a few similar stories about investing in altcoin or even some of them invest in shitcoin and get burned heavily.
I am afraid they are a victim of influencer talking about how easy to double or triple your money by buying altcoins but in fact it needs deep of knowledge and patience to do that.
that was why I recommended him to start it with Bitcoin because newbie needs to learn what he is dealing with before jumping into it.

With the many suggestions that have been given by other members above, the OP should be able to have an opinion about the two tokens he wants to buy.
Maybe the OP entered into the crypto world as a result of stories of people who can gain money from altcoins so that you think it can also work on your activities in crypto. If Vet touches the price of $1 then the VET market cap will be $64,315,576,989 (based on the token supply) which will make this token rise and can even beat BNB, the possible price for VET in a week from now is $0,1 or more but will not touch $1 just a week.

the two altcoins you mentioned are actually good on the market. but you have a choice more likely than the two tokens.
to be honest there are more assets you deserve for a beginner. just try on the top market assets first before trying for other altcoins that are more specific.
but for the two assets you mentioned, they are not bad. but do not rush to get profit in a short time. it can be frustrating.

You need to take some extra Risk if you are expecting profits more than your risk as you want to invest $200 in altcoins and expecting growth of funds with 1000% in short span of time.You can put your investments in some stable and good coins and take out some portion to invest in Bitcoin also which will give you immense returns.Vechain is good project but at this time it is already trading at $0.09 and grown 800-900% already this year and can witness correction or drop anytime soon and this might lead you to panic selling.See this chart of CMC below
