Is awesome miner really worth it for avalon 921?

If you run more than a few miners - and in your other thread you said you have at least 20 - then YES.

Do be aware that Awesome miner requires a subscription to use all of its features on more than 2 miners (or controllers). I know several years ago when I asked Patrike to add support for each Avalon in a cluster the subscription was then billed per-miner, not controller. I believe he has since changed that to now be per-controller but ask in their support thread to make sure.
