There are so many people who are caught up in this. One of them is my friend, he gets a message from the telegram and sends his ETH to the account, sometimes I still really wonder why there are still people who are so stupid who believe in things like this.

I don't know what type of people still fall for this scam. It is obviously fake, how can anyone double the amount of their bitcoin. This is not even possible if bitcoin was cheap like 2019. I'd rather waste the 0.3 btc on gambling or buy some lowcap altcoin rather than believing in them.  Reporting the ads can help but they just keep making a new one. Youtube should take down these ads or this could be a bad impact for bitcoin in long term if many people will still believe in this.

Here we go again and this kind of thing is quite normal on youtube cause they don't do anything about it. Scammers are just carefully observing things and when they see some holes on some platform like youtube, they will inject their scamming method which will gonna fool the others that are not aware of them. Youtube really need to fix their system and update their security to prevent scams such as this false giveaways.

While I can understand why people are angry that this is happening again at the same time we are the sole protectors of our coins, this is what we wanted and that means that we need to be smart enough to avoid scams like this, and anyone that is not smart enough to do so is probably not going to last long on the market as there are too many scammers trying all kind of tactics so they can get you to send your coins to them, and once you do it those coins are gone for good.

Fake giveaway. I think their is no method to double your investment within few minutes. When you send 0.3 btc and receive 0.6 btc. So, these are fake ads. And i recommend everyone that don't crypto to anyone. These peoples are just trying to steal your crypto by showing these fake ads

Also I have just realized that on Twitch, the scammer also impersonates as Elon Musk with same scheme as well. Smart users wouldn't fall on that trap, but I feel sorry for those who really believes those.

The requirements for advertising on YouTube are getting relaxed. The high demand for advertisements causes less standard preview especially on security even though these scammers are on behalf of well-known companies and institutions.

It has been explained in YouTube's policies implicitly that will not be responsible for the risk of advertisements being displayed means that they do not care about your loss as long as their advertising services are paid in full.

They use sites such as Microworkers to recruit people to post such comments, in return for a small payment of $0.05 or $0.10. I have 7 years of experience here in cryptocurrency and therefore I could easily identify such scams. But new users may fall victim.

Youtube really don't filter their ads again. That's been like months that's been happening and they've took action for a while but then again allowing it?

Youtube only cares about the money which they are generating through the ads. They will not care if anyone is promoting any scam. I don't know if its a part of their policy to check the scams before approving the ads. They can't check each and every ad to see if it is made to scam or not. However, in this case it was easy spotable and they should have removed it from the ad campaign.

That's the biggest and latest scam in the Cryptocurrency space right now. It is everywhere, telegram, twitter, Facebook, youtube etc. All these social media platforms should flag this kind of post. This will save some innocent people from they crooked guys.

Don't blame youtube here! This advertising is coming from someone's adwords account. It is impossible for Google to filter out such ads unless the users report it to them! Also, just like facebook, Google should implement a manual verification layer before any of their advertisements go live. That would save common people from a lot of hassles. The process is simple - every advertisements should be checked and manually passed by a human. If you are familiar with Facebook advertising platform, you must have noticed that any ads don't go to approval stage directly. It has to pass a manual verification.

Otherwise, there is no way to stop such scammers permanently. They will keep on coming back in different name, look and feel.

This is old news, they buy or hack channels with many subscribers because these channels are established and reputable and this is where they offer double your Bitcoin, there are so many reports like this in the scam sections, it's when the people do not ask question if the offer is legit or not that they become victims of these scammers, so many greedy people not checking if the offer is legit.

The problem with these ads is that they can easily be reported to Youtube and it gets taken down but people tend to skip this ads even though they know that it is a scam ads. It is really hard to say that newbies will fall for this scam since they are a newbie, maybe if more people are going to spread the information about different types of scams and money traps then there might be some hope that someday we might see newbies not falling for one because they are at the least informed.

It's happened again. This old trick once again is works and scams people. If they can research the offers, they will know that the offers are fake, preventing them from sending the money. If the offer needs you to send the money first before you can get the rewards, that will be suspicious and you do not have to think much about that.

If they can think by their minds, it is impossible to get double money after sending some amount. If they offer to send the reward, and you only need to give your wallet, it can be true and you can follow that offers. Other than that, you need to skip and do not send any money to them.

Youtube can only filter an ad or video if only there is a red flag from the users So now you understand? There are thousands of fake videos uploading on youtube every day it's very difficult for youtube to disabled them all at once because Youtube cannot tell which is fake and which is legit...
