Honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT

This is a very specific token and I think that not everyone needs it. I still don't understand its purpose well. Perhaps it would be better to create a stablecoin for this purpose, which will serve a virtual auction of art and antiques. There is very little information about NFT tokens, so it is not surprising that people are now very interested in them, as a result of which this hype arose. After a certain time, all this will settle down, then we'll see how useful this token will be.

In my personal experience, I have received mixed reactions from different type of people on this same question. So I want to know the view of this community.

It is not a shock that we do not end up with anything too radical about this, I knew that people wouldn't be picking excellent view all that much, we all know what this is about and what it can become, so it wasn't really that shocking, however one thing is for sure, people do not see that this will die neither. Most probably outcome is NFT finds a new method to be used inside crypto that would make it actually great and have a good use case.

For example there is a defi in BSC these days, it is a new one, and I am not going to name so that it wouldn't be shilling it, but that project is using NFT to increase the Farm and Pool income, you use their token, buy NFT, and there is chances of getting something either very good, or very bad and many things in between, and if you get something very good you earn more from farming as well and you spend that NFT to increase your income. This allows their token to be burned, their NFT to be burned and basically make that NFT a great way to use it, actually worths money as well.

At first glance this direction that nowadays is really hot may really become something in high demand even after some long period of time, because there are lots of artists, photographers and famous people that nowadays create their unique NFTs and it may really live for a long time. But what the price of such tokens may be in future nowadays personally for me it is hard to predict. May be it will be high, may be not all NFTs that are so massively created nowadays will be alive in future. .

Honestly, I can see NFT will continue to exist even if the hype is over. The characteristic of it will make itself important to people having it. The uniqueness of NFTs will make sense when the hype is over. Just like physical art, The market will not stop. Sooner or later a new hype will be born and I'm sure that NFT hype will be replaced by something else but the NFT market won't die.

NFT is ideal for virtual goods, and as our lives are more digital each new day NFTs tend to increase in importance on long run. People don't want to own virtual goods only inside one platform that doesn't even belong to them, they want to have it inside their wallet and move to different places, if possible and wished. What we see now is just the beginning of non fungible tokens. There are many options to be explored by this market yet.

  I have a mixed emotions regarding this trend but I believe NFT hype will die soon since there is nothing new offered on the table.  It has existed for sometime now and it just got its moment because someone just put an emphasis on it.  In short, it had long been existing in the blockchain.

Was uncertain between moderate view and I don't know to be honest : given that I think at the moment it is a bit too pumped up , the concept of proving digital ownership and originality does solve some problems but it opens up others that should be addressed ( or at least I ignore they have been already).

What am referring to is  often by purchasing an NFT you are purchasing an intangible asset, which - if it is an image - you can at least print, but that print is no more a digital asset  but a copy that anyone else could print or copy theirselves.
Another issue could be the same image/file/song could be torned into a NFT on different blockchains and therefore the buyer of an NFT should check everyone of them to be sure he is buying the first NFT version of that work.

NFT It's not going to die, it's offering the market a new way to representing every digital asset to be unique and can't be manipulated, Imagine buying some Rare Baseball card with only some simple click without need to buying it from ebay or any marketplace out there and not even need to worry about fake item, Beside that it also can become an Identity verification and some exciting stuff in the future i suppose. The hype will end soon but it's not going to die for sure.

My opinion also towards NFT is that they will continue to exist and will become popular in the next coming days. If more artists, celebrities or athletes will find a way how to create their own NFT, this industry will really be a multi-billion dollar very easily. These personalities will now be easily reached by their fans and can get their digital items in a fast manner. One should know how authentic the NFT item he is buying because definitely, there will be scammers that will try to sell fake ones. Though I don't know yet, how they can imitate a real NFT but for sure scammers will.

I have a problem understanding how it is supposed to eventually solve the imitation problem. If I digitize a foto and sell NFTs, someone can still take a picture of my picture and spread it on the internet, possibly even in an anonymous way. It is to some degree more about idealistic ownership I think. It depends on the underlying that an NFT refers to.

If asking the future of NFTs I feel this would be really great. My opinion is based on what people said to Bitcoin for the first time, they did not believe that paper money could be replaced with digital money / crypto, and in fact Bitcoin is now answering it. And digital arts / NFTs are already underway.

I feel the NFT's are here to stay. The hype is a little over the line but I think if it is a unique art then it will definitely have good value. Keeping the real art safe and secure is really a hard task to do, also there are many ambiguous factors in keeping the authenticity. Therefore an NFT of the art will likely hold good value.

I think in the future gaming industry is going to be the real igniter of nfts.

Imagine being able to take items,nfts from a game to another, this itself could unlock so many things and content inside games its crazy to think about it.

Being possible to have custom skins like in cs:go or league of legends would make NFS really really big and that could get bigger and bigger. I think we will get there in near future.

What can I say? NFT is now at the peak of its popularity. Over time, there will be more and more platforms, projects that issue their NFT tokens, and the hype will gradually weaken. NFT tokens will simply exist, just like the entire cryptocurrency. Some tokens will be expensive and rare, some cheap and publicly available. It is necessary to catch the hype while it is there

What can I say? NFT is now at the peak of its popularity. Over time, there will be more and more platforms, projects that issue their NFT tokens, and the hype will gradually weaken. NFT tokens will simply exist, just like the entire cryptocurrency. Some tokens will be expensive and rare, some cheap and publicly available. It is necessary to catch the hype while it is there

No way it is at the peak, no way! This is just the beginning. All the different use cases are being explored as we speak. Popularity will increase exponentially very soon when even those who have no clue about crypto start using it.
