Devices used for Gambling

So far the devices used are the more popular desktops, but I feel that desktops and laptops might be the same device right?
Basically the two devices will definitely be used at home more often than outside, but the votes show that if laptops and mobile phones get the same vote, I thought laptops and desktops would be the same vote, but I was wrong about that.
Well however, whatever device is used depends on the situation.

A computer is a device which we use only at home. A laptop is a device that we can use both at home and out of the home. A laptop and a mobile phone are almost the same, but we need to use a power supply for the laptop because the battery can not last long compared to a mobile phone. So a computer and a laptop will be different. If a person often to go out, maybe he will use a laptop and mobile phone, but not all of them will carrying a laptop just to go somewhere which is not necessary to bring a laptop, maybe he is just want to hang around with his friends, so he does not have to had his laptop with him.

The only disadvantage of the laptop compared to the mobile phone is the size. You can carry a smartphone in your pocket without issues and very discretely, but for a laptop someone needs at least a backpack and more carefulness as it can be easily damaged or spoted by undesired attention in public places, especially if the individual is going to gamble.

Yes, that is right. If you want to have less size, you can use Tab which is not too bigger than a mobile phone. If you do not have anything to do using a laptop, you do not have to carry your laptop everywhere instead of using a mobile phone. When I use a mobile phone, I can hide what I am doing so other people will not know and they think that I am playing mobile legends

Using laptop will be fine to use when it comes gambling,  wherein you can play different games in the same time.. But for those who just used mobile phone..well no choice and patience is the most important at least can gamble., actually im one of them.. Lol

While tose who are using mobile devices, what can we say?  without patience, you'll be ruining your stay.

I don't think that for most casino games it is so accurate to play on a laptop / desktop but at least when I play poker and multitable I have never played on a smartphone.

Now, the interesting thing here are the equipment that I use to have a connection to play in that case the smartphone is essential, because in the absence of wi-fi, FTTH the data connection is a good alternative, there are even times when I have active 2 data providers and Wi-Fi.

If you are a type of person who do always go outside or doesnt really like to face up on a computer all day then you wouldnt have any choice but to bring up your phone with
you and this is the device that will suits you out since you arent available on playing in your own pc or laptop.Its handy and you can easily access anytime and everywhere you wanted.

The only difference is that the user experience isnt really the same when you are playing on a desktop. Big screens are always better plus on the audio which a mobile
phone couldnt really give out that experience but still not really that much of an issue if you are really seeking for some leisure.

Over the years, I have been using my mobile phone to placed bets on an app, in my local bookmaker, they normally develop for lite version making easy for phone users to access their site, even in some of all these casino games, it be best if a gambler uses smart phone to access his gambling profile,

Before the covid I used both laptop and mobile phone, but I always liked laptop more, nowadays I don't use the phone for gambling at all. The phone was for situations like the ones you described, when I was bored, had to wait for someone, etc. I actually found that I lose less while playing at home, I don't know what's the reason for that. Maybe it's because home feels more safe, relaxing, less disposing to panic, and 90% of my losses are due to panic and rash decisions. While at home it's calmer and a better atmosphere to think, concentrate.

I use all devices listed on the poll except tablet as I do not even have it  So I use desktop when I'm at home, laptop when I'm at work (on my free time obviously), and mobile phone when I have no access to my PC desktop or laptop. Using PC desktop with big screen is so comfortable for me as I can see all features of the casino easily and it gives me better experience than when I'm using mobile phone.

Research like watching match highlights, certain stats of person, or teams, current news and certainly standings for certain fighter or teams, we can conveniently browse from that tab to another with ease.

Which device is much used for the purpose of gambling these days. Before covid-19 people kept moving without restrictions and the lockdown around the world have made lot of changes in everyone's life. As a result the usage of Mobile devices for the purpose of gambling have decreased and the usage of desktop and laptops have increased. I'm stating this based on friends around me and not on any data gathering. Sorry if things were wrong.

Through this thread lets share the device thats been used by you for the purpose of gambling. My 90% of gambling activities were on Mobile devices. This has given me lots and lots of memories. Whenever I pass some region I remember the loss and the place associated with it.

Aroud my region there is a beauty salon. Crossing that I remember I made an expensive haircut here, because I lost $2000 through gambling while waiting for a haircut. Another one is a hospital where I lost some big amount in the premises. Once lost while waiting for withdrawal from ATM. The biggest and the most remembered is my home where I lost that massive loan amount of about $9500. So, gambling has given me more memories.

I prefer to gamble either on my Desktop or on my Tablet. Sometimes I just like to watch TV and gamble a little bit on the side with my tablet. But when I want to concentrate more I prefer gambling on my Desktop PC, it is kind of hard to fully concentrate when lying on the coach or in bed. That is also why I stopped completely gambling on my phone. With mobile gambling I tend to lose too much money. So overall my best pick is definitely Desktop gambling, also because you can watch other gamblers on Twitch or Youtube while doing it.

Desktops and Laptops are more suitable for gambler, because many games don't open perfectly on mobile devices. Usually I play normal casino games on mobile but it makes me uncomfortable while I play slots game. In that case I use laptop. All kind of slots game aren't perfect for small screen device. And laptop/desktop is most preferable for sports betting as you described it.

Nowadays most of the crypto gambling sites giving priority to slots and sports betting. For this reason I also think that usage of desktops and laptops have increased for gambling.

I use desktop becasue of it resolution and nothing more becasue the mobile is easier to handle comparing to the desktop. Some website bookmakers do always create alongside the desktop version with their lite version suitable for mobile phones too, so, my preference still be desktop because of resolution, you also go multiple play or opening many tabs for the purpose of comparison between different bookmakers before make the final decision.

Totally Agreed! some of the gambling sites aren't very responsive at times and usually, because of wifi connectivity only, the internet connection is hazy or more often to disconnects compares to a LAN connection that is very stable, I don't know if you guys experience it or it is just here in my country but apparently, Desktop and laptop are a well-rounded device most convenient to use for gambling sites, both Casino and sports bets.

Using a big screen device is the best but the size is not a thing we usually can carry wherever we go.
I was actually using my phone and PC/Laptop. And just like you, I'm also really preferred to use my PC/Laptop at home and seldom use my phone for gambling. I mean, it was very comfortable playing and gambling using keyboard and mouse that we can easily control unlike of touching the screen.

Yes it's easier to carry around but for many games it's not easy to use. Small screens and touch screens are not designed for this use case, moreover if you move out of the network signal coverage while you are playing you can lose your game round and your stake. I prefer using a laptop or a desktop computer because I think they are more reliable and more easy to use, you have less risk to make fat fingers with them moreover.

That situation of yours also happens to be seen in people who are working from home. They're in front of their computers and laptops and they're carrying their child on their lap while working.
I think that's unsafe because of the radiation that the monitor has an output.

I play on both desktop and my mobile phone, but between the two I play most of the time on my desktop because of the lockdown and the restrictions of going out, I'm using my desktop more when I'm gambling before I am more on my mobile phone because I travel a lot because of works, I am more comfortable using both, as long as the internet connection is good I can play on both machines with no issue at all.
