I will not discuss what profits or losses were gained by the devices I have used for gambling. I use smartphone (mobile phone) to gamble because I like to see it small, and while everything fits inside this small screen, I never felt the need to use anything else like laptop, tablet, etc. I don't think I'll ever shift my decision of playing with phone to something else.

Basically, I use mobile phone maximum time of the day and using it for gambling too. But I will suggest everyone to use laptop. Mobile phone can be hacked in many ways and installing unknown app knowingly or unknowingly is one of them. Btw, laptop will be good for gambling.

If you are going to use a smartphone to gamble or to make any kind of monetary transaction then you need to try to keep your phone as clean as possible and not install anything but only the necessary apps, while I do not gamble with my smartphone I do keep some banking apps and I do not install anything on that phone and I keep it up to date as I do not want my phone to get hacked and the same kind of logic needs to apply here as you are dealing with money that may not be significant to you but it is for a hacker trying to get to your coins.

I am not getting this perspective. When you are the only person gambling and in same house and using same setting/bet amount, how your profit or losses will differ device to device? You mean different days are having different performance hence profit/loss ratio also differs?

Yeah, I faced such difficulties; usually I do place my sportsbetting after double checking by zooming-in and zooming-out but my smartphone's zoom was not working on that particular day for unknown reasons but simply went for placing bet by assuming that I was fine with that odds but got small profits even my prediction was right and only after that I realized how my phone tricked me on that occasion.

Everything that abusive will have bad outcome , if we wanted to gamble make sure to have limitation and to have at least enough reason to stop whenever you Win or lose with your budget amount.

I have been there and tell you what? this can lead to addiction and even ruining your entire life and future if you did not manage rightful .

what model is your laptop . actually most laptops has a wifi in them , you can tether your phones connection to your laptop and play there  .

 thats what i do ever since my wifi got broken . mirroring your phones screen to laptop and tv can bigger your viewing but you are still browsing the gambling site in mobile view  . if you dont own a tablet and you want one , you can easily buy them now because tablets are as cheap as a mobile phone and both devices offers comfortability than on desktop and laptop .

Most people I know use their cells, and that has been pretty much the best alternative during COVID. Now that there seems to be an ease on the restrictions, some of us would like to have some short of in-person gambling. 99% of my betting was social with work colleagues raffles or friends. Now I also added a bit of on-line to the repertoire. I just find it more fun when you compete with people you know even if on-line.

This is one more reason why I do not like to gamble on smartphones at all, the screen is too small and you could make a mistake and lose everything you had at the casino and you will have no chance to get your money back as it was a mistake on your end and not the casino, so it is better to gamble in your regular desktop computer as not only you have a better tool to control way more precisely were you click thanks to your mouse but the bigger screen makes this way easier.

The very last thing we should be doing is gambling on smartphones! The addiction can grow higher when using a smartphone as the brain will unconsciously associate the familiar and trusted device to the gambling activity and, trust me, that's the ultimate way to lose all your money.

Before covid-19 people kept moving without restrictions and the lockdown around the world have made lot of changes in everyone's life. As a result the usage of Mobile devices for the purpose of gambling have decreased and the usage of desktop and laptops have increased. I'm stating this based on friends around me and not on any data gathering. Sorry if things were wrong.

Aroud my region there is a beauty salon. Crossing that I remember I made an expensive haircut here, because I lost $2000 through gambling while waiting for a haircut. Another one is a hospital where I lost some big amount in the premises. Once lost while waiting for withdrawal from ATM. The biggest and the most remembered is my home where I lost that massive loan amount of about $9500. So, gambling has given me more memories.

A lot of replies already but let me give my opinion-:

Mobiles are more or so available 24*7 plus they are compact and small and only the people who are really serious about gambling or maybe using the strategies for a long term bet rely on laptops. Other than that people most usually use :

Tablets
Mobile

They are easier to carry and at the same time maintain. Why is this data important:

Some sites base their blueprint for desktop mode which sometimes makes it weird for the mobile users and some of them are not mobile friendly. Some games are way off the screen and the names are also not clear so I do believe the sites should make sure this does not happen at all.

I usually like to gamble on sports from my laptop. I can check out multiple sites for odds and compare them side by side easier on the laptop vs mobile. My main wallet is also only connected to my laptop and not my phone.

Playing with laptop is much more efficient in terms of comfort (you don't need to hold mobile in your hands) and immersion into the game itself. With laptop it's more likely you're on real poker match

You are absolutely right that now many gambling platforms have started developing their platforms that are compatible with all devices.
Therefore it is not surprising that the number of mobile app users continues to increase,  even though there have been many changes to
the interface of the apps nowadays. But it doesn't make me comfortable playing gambling on a mobile phone, still in my opinion it's more
comfortable using a laptop. In the end, playing online gambling returns to our respective tastes, because everyone has their own favorite devices.

I play mostly on my computer because it's not a hassle to find some buttons, hover, sorts by that category but on mobile, you need to click more because it's hidden on the panels. We have different preferences too I want to share that even though I'm using a mobile phone I prefer to make it in a desktop view or desktop mode to prevent getting irritated to the hidden icons. Some of the platforms to does not have a mobile version but I think this is recommended now for most of them.

You'll have a lot of memories playing with your mobile phone because it allows you to play in any location but one of the issues I encounter playing on a mobile phone is the lack of concentration, I cannot concentrate if I am mot in my favorite chair, I tried playing in a mobile phone in many locations but I have no success, I am in a better position to win in my favorite desktop with my favorite chair.

I love using my Realme Pro because it had a Wider screen so enough for me to have a Best result each time i gamble.

Though i also use Laptop when in office because we are not allow to bring our personal Mobile inside the premises so i prefer using lappy when there is a time to gamble.

That is quite the specific device you use to gamble on. I remember back then that I only use my mobile phone which only cost around 100$ or maybe less as it is a local phone on my country. It was too laggy and I was asking my friends and colleagues hi and low because I was playing Primedice and Justdice. It was fun and especially when I'm winning.

Anyways, currently I find myself more comfortable gambling on PC or Laptop as there are more options and advantages on desktop than on a mobile phone. Also, multitasking is too easy on a PC. But still I sometimes gamble on phone when I'm outside and testing my luck.
