In my opinion, 2 this will be a good choise and you may gain profits from it in the short term and 3 it will be a safe investment and can take profit in the long run, No. 1 is risky if you are not an expert in examining the project.

Of the 4 methods that you mentioned, I've tried all of them. Then what in my opinion is best to use is to buy Bitcoin before halving. This has proven
to be the most effective method in my opinion, because the Bitcoin halving has happened 3 times and all of them have succeeded in providing profit
to investors who bought Bitcoin before the halving. So suggest that before the halving happens you should buy Bitcoin.

My strategies and as far as i used it i profit :
First you need to decide to devirsifie your investmen.

For very long term project and it is strongest crypto currencies, i put my money on BTC 40%

For middle term project i will put my 30% money in to altcoin which already listed on exchanger and coinmarketcap.

For short term i put in my money in to ICO which i did due diligent on it. Like XSL Labs, Vulcan Forged, Citizen finance and student coin.

So far, Putting your money into ICO is very risky because that is a new coin in which we really don't know whether they will be listed in good or top exchanges or not, will attract new traders or investors after listed in exchanges or not, or will have high volume, market cap, and liquidity or not. In my case I will just buy cryptocurrency with good track record (price performance, fundamentals etc) through exchanges like binance and kucoin. Then wait for the right time to take profits. Of course I used technical analysis during entry and exit.

Also, those points you've mentioned are correct but the question is, in what coin you gonna do those things. Buying tokens/coins in IPO/ICO/community sales/pre-sales etc. are great, if and only if, the coins you will buy are good and legit. But if not, it will lead you to lose your resources. So maybe, put number 1 as "DYOR regarding what coin to buy/invest".

Picking up a great coin/token/project should be the first on the list. All of those things will be useless and dangerous if the coin you invested in is one of the future sht coins. For me picking the right coin is the hardest part because that is full of risk but it depends on your dyor.

3. Stick to known ones but you should know on how to deal with price volatility.
4. Halving is every 4 years and this common sentiment about price increase or pump after this event.

Generally, if you do tend to make profits then you can simply choose between active trading or just simply holding.

ICO is dead at least for those who know what they are doing. There are still people falling for fancy white papers buying the story. The scammers are out for them.

There are so many options to make good profit. Buying good coin or choosing potential coin to invest is one of them. If you can choose a good and potential coin then you must get a good profit from it. Buying coin before burning can get you some profit not a lot. Buy top volume coin for trading is ok. Numbers 1 and 4 look good for profit because buying coins and tokens before burning tokens gives a lot of profit if the price goes up and bitcoin is a lucrative currency for investment. It is a very reliable currency and is less likely to be lost even if the price goes down it goes up again so you have to invest in the long term.

You're coming up with the very basic of choosing the right project but I believe OP and the subject-line is all about after investing what are the strategies you will be following to take out profits? It means you have already chosen a right project and invested and then it is appreciating and getting you profits and now you will be waiting for more profits or what strategy you will be following to book profits?

If I will be getting 2x profits then I will book 25% of total capital and then I will wait for another round of bull run to happen so that I will book another 25% if I get 4x returns. This way I will be booking up to 10x profits with all my 100% of holding.

I agree that now cryptocurrency becomes more regulated and the rights of investors are more protected. For example there is a Tupan project https://tupan.io/ with SEC registration which earn money on forests industry and protect Amazonia Forests.

As long as the investor rights don't lead to exclusion of many people, it's fine. The SEC only wants professionals to trade and that is an issue. As soon as you any sort of accreditation, your market access is limited. Is that called protection or oppression?
