I'm also considering in participating ICO as there is a huge possible market gain but couldn't deny the high percentage of these projects are scams and we might be lucky if we can buy ICO that will succeed and get listed to an exchanger. But the safest one is to buy Bitcoin even not before halving as we know that Bitcoin is really profitable.

All of that way can be good to take profit but with term and conditions.

1. You can buy IPO/ICO, but you need to find out which project will succeed in the future. But unfortunately, it is difficult to predict it as almost all of the project will have the same chances.

2. It Depends on the coins and tokens because we already see many coins and tokens burning, but the price does not increase hardly. But we also have a good example such as BNB, which will burn at the end of this month.

What you have listed above are ways to invest in crypto currency market; and they are not bad choices.

1. IDO / IPO /IEO / ICO /IAO etc are not bad manner of investing; but you need and must do it on platforms with a good track level of success in their previous rounds.

2.) Yeah, This the most effective way but be careful because most probably many traders will panic buy which result to overbought on price. You might end up buying at peak when you FOMO. Token burn doesn't mean that the price will always go up.

The four methods you highlighted above are actually good ways to take profit. The profit though is dependent on the amount of money invested and how extensive your research is before investing it them.

For me, numbers 2 & 4 are top notch for good investment strategy. I will never go close to number 1. I learnt several bitter lessons buying ICOs in 2017/18 when ICOs were the talk of the town as most of them exited softly after listing and a lot more never got to any exchange for listing.

As for taking profit strategy, that would depend on your risk appetite. Don't place your TP level based on your expectations from a project to meet up financial obligations with an expected payout. Doing that would be irrational and most times you don't get to hit that target. Just be moderate and go for may be X10%, or X20 or x50%. If you get more, count it a blessing.

Which is what is your plan for investing in crypto is this long term or short term. Well in this two option Long term is little bit risk free than short term. Option 1 is really depend on your luck, it’s kinda uncertainty of your investment, And personally i didn't get anything good from this way. After token burning price might be increased but will never happened in every coin. I see BNB 14th burn finished few days before, It is likely to increase in price although it’s increasing many times from last month. Top volume coins are little bit safe zone if comparing small coin with low volume but with top volume can't make significant profit i think.

Sometimes buying any coins listed in Binance is not a good option, there are several coins which are newly listed in Binance which were already listed in some exchange gets dumped. A lot of people lose money buying early phase on new coin listing in Binance. All the mentioned  entry points mentioned by OP are good however taking your profit can be tricky, sometimes being greedy and waiting for the price to increase some more makes you lose a good profit opportunity. Set a certain target when to take profit and stick to it no matter what.

Buying in ICO is kinda risky especially in some sus project out there but it's worth it if your lucky to get into a great project the profit is kinda good actually.

Buying coin and tokens before burn? I don't think so. Buying top volume coin? maybe low market price coin could actually give you a much higher profit than the coin that coin higher and needed a high investment.

It's a kinda simple, investment in a potential token in the market and then take profit every time the market is pumping and then hold when the price is dump or low.

ICOs and new projects are doing well recently because of the big bull run the market recently saw. Good projects like DOT will always perform well even when the market is bullish or bearish but new coins like recently SHIB is gaining some real momentum so these kind of things do happen when the market is going through a bull-run.

My suggestion is for you is that buy Bitcoin and don't hold onto that. Because it will sometimes attack you back. Use cryptocurrency talk and know more.

Yes, it's very common that there are investors that won't care about liquidity and volume. All they care is the "what if" strategy.
