I see the dogecoin problem in this market as a phenomenon. And they are losing the real value of these coins, people need to admit that for them whether it goes up $1 or even higher, it is still a dogecoin. They have too much money, and it will not affect their lives no matter where the dogecoin goes, to be precise it is pointless or just sees it as a joke rather than a use case.

Well.. in many cases proof exists that these celebrities who were promoting shitcoins ultimately profited from their promotions. I am not saying that they were scamming people like John McAfee did. But they triggered pump-and-dump cycles with altcoins that can be manipulated and eventually profited from those cycles. Rapper Kanye West is one of those celebrities who came up with his own altcoin (Coinye) and tried to cash out. He made millions from his Coinye shitcoin, which eventually (and naturally) died out by 2017.

Yes, there must be on-going discussion about this already but I could not resist myself after seeing how DOGE is getting influenced by Elon Musk and his tweets. This is really big power that people like Elon hold.

Neither he is coming on TV, or live in some shows or announcing publicly that he is investing nor he is making lucid statements about it.

All he would do is "conspiracy tweets". For example, yesterday's tweet "Doge Barking at the Moon". That's all guys and just after 22 hours it reached its ATH price and currently trading around it.

If he keeps doing 5-10 more tweets every other week then I don't know DOGE could be surfing around 1-2 dollars easily. This is crazy economy I have ever seen in my life.

That is true the main reason why doge pump massively this year is not because the people understand its usecase but because of big influencers such as Elon Musk, Snoop dogg and even Mia Khalifa whose just shilling it that creates hype and FOMOs.

We must appreciate the strength of Elon Musk in marketing Dogecoin. I think that his influence is what made the Dogecoin price reach its highest price. One of the few lessons I've learnt about this space is that people are basically interested in making money and one of the most easiest ways is by following the trend. It would be a good idea to risk some funds into dogecoin as there's a huge possibility that Elon musk would pump the coin to $1.

Because I do not want to have my money in a coin that can be easily manipulated by influential people. Any tweet or word from them can either make of break your portfolio. You are at their mercy.

Everyone is targeting Elon Musk for supporting Dogecoin, what about the hundreds of other coins in the cryptocurrency market which rallied basically all the shit coins in the market rallied and here everyone is targeting Dogecoin because they think it is another shit coin that rallied simply because Elon is tweeting about it. If he tweeted people invested and it will not rally all the time and the market will goes down eventually.

Before I was a Doge holder but I've seen no progress that much and when Elon entered and shilled, that was too late for me because I've sold most I've got.
If he did that before, I've got plenty of money because of it but I don't see any entry on it as it soars.

its not good for crypto market, everyone moved only based on billionare shill. everyone never imagin dogecoin will be like this after elon musk often tweet about doge. market psychology now changed, they follow hype in market not about fundamental or quality. someday make trader rekt , and then lately concious about this manipulation.

In the first place, I feel very sad because during the time that it was 25 sats I ignored this coin, but there are sometimes I collected dogecoin coming from the different faucets platform then I accumulated it until I can able t withdraw it and transfer it in the other exchange platform, where honestly, I am looking for it now to check and find out then I will trade it for sure.

I'm not sure how I feel about this man. Of course, I adore Doge, but will it be that simple? Don't make it so easy for Elon. I only hope that Doge will develop into a valuable financial mechanism by being a coin with a strong real-world use case.While I am not a doge user, I have often used doge for transfer purposes due to its lower fees. However, I found that withdrawal fees on exchanges are increasing, so I moved to LTC/EOS or other inexpensive alts. I would not be a doge keeper because this one is very dangerous. What if Elon were to stop promoting Doge one day? The expected spike would no longer occur.
