A recommended safe option for the r-node update:
Stop your DePool for a round after finishing validation (do not participate in the next elections), update and resync your node, then participate in the following elections.

Update procedure:
1. Update r-node from the "rustnet" branch (rustnet scripts have been updated to work with the rustnet branch);
2. Clean the database (you can safely delete it if not validating);
3. Resync the new r-node.
