A cryptocurrency can't solely survive based on a few tweets and support from the celebrities. It needs to have a good algorithm to back up its technology, and widespread acceptance and adoption. Dogecoin lacks in all these aspects, and therefore it was not a surprise when the prices crashed by 40% in a week. Right now the DOGE market cap is more than that of more technologically advanced cryptocurrencies such as Polkadot and Uniswap, which IMO is not justified.

I recommend buying when the DOGE price is less than $ 0.1. The number of DOGE in circulation is insane, reaching more than 129 billion DOGE. If you buy at the current price of a coin for fun purposes only, you are putting your assets at risk. The current price is still relatively expensive and it is very difficult to increase it because some people are doing TP at the current price.

There is still BNB which is always fighting with ETH which can still be used as an alternative place to invest, whether it's long term or medium term, these two coins are better.

I pity those who bought in the highs. As for me, I really did not invest in DOGE because it is a meme coin and I made investments on much investment-worthy coins and tokens. What I do is usually use DOGE for my transfers. But of course do it in way that it does not affect my coins in any way. It may not affect the price of Doge now that it use before if ever Elon will tweet again since his followers already knew it and probably already bought some of it, those who but earlier that tweet or years ago of Doge will definitely the one's who really gain a lot from Elons tweet. I think if he will be able to tweet again other coins his followers will definitely make it a hype again but not in terms of Doge or other coins he already tweeted or created a hype with. So I'd prefer not investing too much again on it since I already gained some profits during the hype.
