I haven't invested in Dogecoin just yet but from how it originated, I have mixed feelings that it could still be affected by Musk. If even people bought the coin when it was still a meme or joke coin, how about more if a known celebrity would joke about it or say something "hyped" to it.
For Bitcoin, it wasn't created the same way as Dogecoin so surely it can stand on its own.

Doge coin needs no real reason for the price to get pumped. A group of people decides to pump it, everyone will follow and do the same. The coin only needs to be "hyped" a little for it to get pumped. So if Elon doesn't tweet, someone else eventually will create a hype. This is how the coin has been forever. It gets pumped when anyone hypes it. The pump is short lived and gets dumped really quick. Don't forget, it's a "Meme" coin with no actual use case. People use it for the lulz.
Not sure what you mean by succeed. Do you think the price is the only factor that shows if a coin "succeeded" or not?

Nothing beats out the original no matter how many similar type of coins do exist then it cant still be better compared to the original ones that had been known in the market.

If you're taking about the profits then obviously there'll be more coins that are like doge coin. We're too interested in wanting to make quick money that we get decieve into thinking investing in these shitcoin in the market are the best decision. Irrespective of the gains doge coin gives it's still not a long-term investment as it can be dump within minutes and you lose all your earned profits including capital.

These are coins profiting from the influence of top individuals, seems you don't understand the power, the once richest man holds. He's having lots of followers so they'll blindly follow his recommendation without examining if what's he's recommending is actually what there investment.

Many coins will want to emulate what dogecoin did and more gullible individuals will get scam. Just be cautious as the scammers will seize this opportunity to prey on their victim.

As I remember, the last post from Musk about Dogecoin was ,more or less, negative! He said he will not talk about it more before Dogecoin becomes more "decentralized"! He said that 6 (If I remember correctly) hold the majority of coins in circulations! So they control the Dogecoin market! Or at least they are able to do it!

But since that tweet, Dogecoin made nice progress and in one moment went x3 from $0.05! Who knows what is happening here exactly, we should be aware that we talk about Dogecoin, it's a kind of paradox in crypto, at least in my opinion!

I think you misunderstood me. I also much agree with your point of view on the theory of hype. But an excellent project, especially cryptocurrency, which has a better token economy and product can achieve a good internal cycle, and it will promote the continuous increase of prices. Unsuccessful projects rely on speculation or bookmakers. Of course, there will be price fluctuations for a certain period of time, but they will eventually fall into silence.

must gave it a little hype. but dogecoin was already growing and getting community adoption by itself. even if must didn't tweet dogecoin. it would still grow with the time. it may not surged that fast as now. but it would eventually worked out.

I don't know why people are so interested in trolls, there are some coins and tokens which are now being used by big institutions for use in real world. So many undervalued coins. I feel doge is literally eating the space of other good coins and it will eventually be corrected one day for sure.

Well mate, what I think is a bit different but it might be close to what happened. I think the reason the hype was made is to profit. Maybe there is a possibility that when they and I mean the ones who created the hype, bought Bitcoins and Dogecoins, the currency was low then I mean the price. Then after they have bought it, then they started these tweets that became viral and spread like wildfire. Invest in BTC and DOGE now while it is not too late. Of course the old timers in BTC and DOGE and those who made a significant investment were the winners. Including of course those who invested and made the hype. I think Elon Musk posted this meme coin because he has an interest in Dogecoin, so that indirectly he can market Tesla products to crypto users around the world.

I agree. The recent hype was due to Musk's influence among his fans and investors. Without his propaganda dogecoin wouldn't show an impressive rise in price like we have seen.
Futurely there might be another hypes like this involving another currencies, although in this case with doge it was quite particular, as it's one of the oldest crypto in the market and has a consistent history among the early enthusiasts, which passed ahead to the following generation of adopters already.

Right, imaging DOGE for such a long time was in the two digit satoshi territory. Then all of a sudden you wake up from sleep seeing the price go berserk and up to until 200 the first ATH then up to 600 satoshi the second ATH. His tweets then, in my opinion, is basically a manipulative tactic to surge the price of the coin up so that whatever he purchased will be sold and profits multiplied by 3 or 4. Most likely after a correction, he will try to buy again and then tweet, and then sell at a profit.

Not sure and yes, even some of my friends were not interested in investing at first but because the doge trend at that time was so great, they only asked about doge and not bitcoin.
