it seems that Pacquiao will fight Mikey Garcia in July or August. a recent article (posted four hours ago) stated that Arnold Vegafria(Pacquiao's business manager) and Jayke Joson(close Associate) confirmed that many Pacquiao will be returning for the first time after his fight with Kieth Thurman.

Not as excited about this fight but still glad to see him fighting again after two years.

I do also have the feeling that they are really trying to spread out some rumors  or trying out some public reactions and see if it is really enough to create some hype
and once they dont see any significant interest or demand then that would really be just remaining as a rumor and that fight wont really be pushed.It had happened
for some potential match ups but it didnt really push that through just because of those common reasons.

according to Pacquiao's Manager, there was a proposal to fight Connor Mcgregor and will remain on as an option after the fight with Garcia.

we will know if this fight will indeed be a reality once bookies start to list this match - Pac vs Garcia or start selling tickets. up until then, we dont know if this will push thru 100%. maybe, they are still weighing their options here, if they can attract audience or not. their promoter can easily change their minds according to what is favourable to his camp.

I don't think it would be healthy for him now, since Manny isn't that focus compared from his last previous successful fights. The situation of Pacman these days has been divided, because of his political career due to his rumoured future Presidential candidacy which is now become controversial for several netizens who've been following his entire life.
Hopefully this would got good results and doesn't affect his incoming fights despite the fact of pressures behind him.

Well if we go on your argument, then Manny wouldn't have focus on his boxing career since he enter politics. And yet we still saw him winning against the young Thurman. So I don't think that Manny is divided up to this point.

If he goes boxing, then he is 100% focus, we can still see the old Manny trying like he even doesn't age. So after his fight, goes back to his desk job as the fighting Senator of the Philippines. And we really admire how Manny develops, from his obscure beginning to now a Senator or possibly the next President of the Philippines.

That kind of style will certainly make the fans enjoy this fight, Manny is aggressive and he likes an aggressive fighter too. IMO, that's the only way to beat Pacquiao too, if an opponent will not run from him, Pacquiao will feel that the opponent is strong enough to fight him toe to toe. I've seen this during his last fight where Manny got a little tired in the end, and as I expected, it ended a close fight Pacquiao winning by split decision only.
