But I'm worried about his total preparedness on his fight if this one will proceed since election day is busy day for politicians and he might miss to condition his body to prepare on his upcoming fight.

I believe he is already rich, but I doubt that statement that he doesn't need money anymore. it's natural for some that they will not be contented, he will always aim for bigger money as he has a lot of ambition in life, to be a president, he needs to be financially stable and free in order to fund his campaign and I guess he is really busy with that, and he tried to build a legacy not only in boxing but in politics as well.

Not to boost, but probably wanted to remain relevant as we all know that he got his exposure in boxing first before taking on his political ambitions. So it's a win-win for him if he keeps on fighting, he will be talk not just in the Philippines but globally, and then he was to earn huge amount.

Of course, he is not close as compare to Floyd's boxing earning. Manny has Bob Arum in the first part of his career, so there is a cut and then we should understand that he is a non US boxer. But in his country, he is one of the riches person because of boxing.

And there is a lot of difference between $10 million (which was offered to Pacquiao for his proposed fight against Terence Crawford) and $100 million (which he received during his fight against Floyd Mayweather in 2015). And for someone who is worth around $250 million, these amounts are going to be significant. Because there won't be any significant earnings, once he retires from the boxing scene.

Unfortunately, it's very quiet, I don't know if this is an indication that the fight has been sealed already and just waiting for the right time to announce it, or this fight is not going to happen.

as far as I know, he already talks about his plan for retirement in the near future(maybe after the second fight this year since he plans to fight twice in 2021). I guess we can expect his announcement for retirement in the end of the year or in the early months of 2022.

Manny seems became greedy for money as he have an ambition to became a higher official in Philippines, maybe thats the reason why he didn't left boxing yet since he needs money for running his wants. For me he really needs to retire since he already got a name on this industry and if he's unlucky to get a career ending disease brought by receiving a heavy punch for sure he will regret why he didn't retire while his body still in shape.
