Also, how come the casino did not obey the ruling of the court?
Wasn't this the case where they just moved to a different country?

Quote
If a casino is established in the UK (for example) and the UK government ruled against them, then they would not have any option but to comply with the ruling.
There's a reason most casinos (and exchanges for that matter) are registered in countries known as tax havens.

I thought casinos and exchanges preferred to be registered in countries which offered lax regulation on their economical activities and little oversight on their activities. In the end, it does not matter what the business is, business people will always try to register in jurisdictions which are the friendliest to them.
The ideal case scenario would be to have casinos and exchanges to have headquarters in our respective countries, so our local law agencies and governments could serve as third parties to solve issues between the casino and gamblers, in both ways.
But that is pretty much impossible with all the phenomenon of globalization and how some issuers of licenses allow their licensed companies to operate all around the world from their jurisdiction, that is the case of Curaçao, at least.

Also, it would be pretty wild if a casino actually had to flee a country in order not to pay a lucky winner. Very wild.

I dont know what is happening with that case now, but I was following it closely and they postponed it to the max, and last time I asked they didnt pay him anything.
PaperWallet was last online on Bitcointalk back in January. Back then he said that he wasn't paid anything yet. No idea if that has changed in the meantime. Since it was a First Instance court judgement, I wonder if FortuneJack and their ex license holder have submitted an appeal and how long they have until they can do that. The player can also appeal since the court rejected some of his claims.

I'm more surprised they do this for an amount as little as just $100k:
I have a judgment against @Fortunejack for unpaid winnings exceeding 100,000 dollars. During the legal process they’ve changed company name and moved out of Curacao. Despite having dismissed almost all of my lawyer’s claims, the court still judged that Fortunejack wrongfully confiscated my winnings of bet (3), which is worth 92,4000 euros (4657*19.84). They should also pay interest rates and other fees, still yet to be determined by the court since Fortunejack is unwilling to deal with me directly.
That should be pocket change for any casino.

If anything that proves that casino is probably having troubles with liquidity, and the administration determined it was cheaper for them to move out the country and change of jurisdiction than actually pay what it is due to a single gambler.

And I agree with you, 100k is supposed to be pocket change for a casino, so I cannot come up with other explanation which does not involve lack of liquidity.

This would be the kind of stuff which would make me to close my account after withdrawing all my money and never lock back to a service, to be honest.
It is obvious nobody can become a millionaire thanks to their good luck on that casino.

That's expected and it's a normal thing. However, I don't care what the numbers look like for altcoins. Only bitcoin is of interest to me for the purpose of this thread.

Yes, but I think this so should be clearly mentioned, to not be misleading as FE minimums on some casinos are set to be equivalent to a cash value, and especially that there's been supported altcoins table Smiley Do you agree?

Update:
- I have gone through the whole list and corrected the fees and withdrawal amounts where needed.
- Several defunct casinos has been removed from the table.
- I have added 10 new crypto casinos. Those are: Wild.io, BetHog, Jackpotter, Thrill Casino, YEET, Bitz, Toshi Bet, Spinly, Play Fortuna, and OxBet.

As always, if you spot any mistakes, don't hesitate to speak up.

Wonder why FJ is still part of this list when they don't deserve it, but whatever. Anyway, I want to talk about Primedice. They recently announced that they are shutting down later this year on Oct 8 which is clearly visible on their site itself.

Most of their gamblers migrated to Stake which makes sense. Just wanted to point that out so that op can decide when to remove it from this list.

Maybe a correction for Yeet as shown in above 2 images, not really sure where did you get the $10 min withdrawal and $1 fee but what I can see on the cashier menu is as shown above ($50 min withdrawal and $7 fee).
I havent checked the last 5 added casinos as I have no account on that casinos but maybe I'll check them later if there are some other things which attract me to visit them  Grin

Wonder why FJ is still part of this list when they don't deserve it, but whatever.
I have read the case regarding PaperWallet and FortuneJack and decided to keep the casino in the list for now. That can change, though. I have posted in the scam accusation thread, asking the OP if there is anything new about the case and what's going to happen next. He hasn't been on the forum since January, though.

I was made aware of this case by Haunebu in my Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos thread. He suggested that I remove FortuneJack from the table because it's been proven that they are scammers.

FortuneJack has thus far been in the wrong. The verdict and judgement by the court is still somewhat confusing, though. I am no legal expert but I can still compare this judgement to how courts work in my country.

The first thing worth noting is that the court that made the judgement is a First Instance court. That means that both parties can appeal and if they do, this decision may not be final. The Appeals Court (not sure of the right terminology) can confirm the verdict of the First Instance court or they can make a different decision. Theoretically, they can request that Antillephone and FortuneJack pay more, pay less, or decide that they are not guilty at all. All outcomes are possible, hence why there is an appeal process.

Because of that it's confusing to read that the judgement is already "provisionally enforceable." How do you enforce something immediately that can later be changed or perhaps cancelled altogether?

A few scenarios: FJ and Antillephone pay the €90k fee. In the meantime, the appeal court makes a final judgement, requiring them only to pay €50k. Will FJ and Antillephone now sue the player to get back the €40k they paid because of the provisionally enforceable first instance judgement?

Or what if the Appeals Court declares them not guilty at all? What if the Appeals Court judges that FJ and Antillephone need to pay €200k instead?

@PaperWallet
Are you still in contact with your lawyer who worked with you on this case?
Has he told you if the other parties have appealed the judgement?
The document doesn't mention until when the parties can appeal? Is there a deadline?
What happens next?

Anyway, I want to talk about Primedice. They recently announced that they are shutting down later this year on Oct 8 which is clearly visible on their site itself.
Yes, I saw that as well. I have no reason to remove them from the thread until that happens because it's still operational right now.

Maybe a correction for Yeet as shown in above 2 images, not really sure where did you get the $10 min withdrawal and $1 fee but what I can see on the cashier menu is as shown above ($50 min withdrawal and $7 fee).
Thanks for the info. I will look into it. I have created accounts on all casinos that I added and checked the numbers personally. If the info wasn't available in the withdrawal section, then I spoke with the customer support or looked through the FAQs or other types of help documentation. I will go and see what went wrong with YEET.

Maybe a correction for Yeet as shown in above 2 images, not really sure where did you get the $10 min withdrawal and $1 fee but what I can see on the cashier menu is as shown above ($50 min withdrawal and $7 fee).
I have doublechecked this. Yeet is one of the casinos where the withdrawal section isn't fully functional if you don't have any funds in your account. If you take a look at my screenshot, you will see that nothing is selected on the "Currency to Withdraw" line. That's because I can't select anything from the list. I have no balance in my account. "Ethereum" was selected by default under "Network" and I can't change that either. You can see a notification at the bottom of the page saying that the minimum withdrawal is $10.

I also spoke to customer support at the time. You can see a log on the right. They told me about the numbers that I later added to the table. Not sure if I should keep them or change to the info you gave me. I will probably ask again and hopefully talk with a different support rep.

On a different note. It looks like Yeet has some sort of screenshot protection at their casino. The above is a picture I took with my phone. I couldn't take a screenshot on my laptop with the withdrawal tab and live chat window visible. They don't appear in the screenshot.

Yes we cant change the currency if we have no balance in that currency, fortunately I have few satoshi in my balance so I can change it to btc for the withdrawal request.
Just checked it again and it remains $50 minimum withdrawal for btc with $7 fee, I have other few balance in other currencies (usdt & trx) and when I checked the min for these 2 currencies, yes the minimum withdrawal is $10 while the fee is depending on the network (for usdt).
I guess the $10 minimum withdrawal is applied to all currencies except BTC, or the other possibility is that they put wrong information under the withdrawal section for btc if the support said that $10 min withdrawal is applied to all including btc, or the support did not know about the difference about min withdrawal between  btc and other currencies.

I checked with YEET's customer support again a few days ago. I got to speak with a different agent that time and he told me the same as you did. When it comes to bitcoin, the minimum withdrawal amount is $50, while the fixed withdrawal fee is $7 equivalent in BTC. I have already made the changes in the table to reflect that.
