It is true that we don't know whether his entire accusation was valid or not, but the thing is that there are multiple, unresolved scam accusations against them to this day which is why I highlighted them since that is a large enough sample size basically.

After taking a look at the Casino Guru thread you linked to and especially seeing the post from Jaroslav, a forum admin, I have changed my mind and will remove Thunderpick from my table. Thunderpick is no longer featured on Casino Guru, but the admin says they had a low safety rating and resolved almost no complaint.
I have also found the casino on AskGamblers and they have behaved similarly there. Out of the 10 complaints on AG, only one was resolved, the others were left unresolved. It seems like they don't really care.

I am looking at the thread that earned them a flag. I even posted in back in the day. It dates back to 2024. The thread was created by masnou94. The flag was created and is still supported by albon. However, the OP of the scam accusation disappeared and never came back to the forum. I don't think that scam is confirmed. He claimed that he was scammed for €1049. holydarkness later asked him about the status of the case but he never replied back. Maybe he gave up knowing he wouldn't be paid, maybe he got his money, maybe they settled on an amount, or maybe the accusation is bogus and he didn't want to pursue the case anymore. My point is, we don't know.

If you take a look at the ratings for Thunderpick, you will see that about 50% of people rated it as 5 stars. Roughly 40-45% think it's awful with a 1 star rating. One group has a completely opposite opinion from the other, but they are about equally strong in numbers. It's very weird to see 100 people claim something is excellent while a different set of 100 individuals say it's awful. Someone is inflating one of the sets, maybe both.

A single distinctive review can lead people to form a conclusion about service quality more effectively than ten generic ones. Average users rarely take the initiative to write even a brief, positive review unless prompted by an incentive, whereas users experiencing issues often resort to posting negative reviews simply to get a response to their complaint. lol

Me neither.
I saw many times people being hired to write fake reviews on trust pilot for cheap money, so I seriously doubt all of them are real.
There are some percentage of real reviews for sure, but it is not easy to know what percentage are are and what fake reviews.
We have trustpilot crypto alternative few years ago, and they ahd topic in bitcointalk forum, but I am not sure if they are still working.

Thing is Trustpilot is actually useful to a certain extent since there are legitimate reviews mixed in with fake reviews though the fake reviews have reduced over time thanks to their team making some useful changes. I tend to rely on them a bit.

I never put all of my eggs in one basket which is why I check Trustpilot, Reddit, Google Reviews, Bitcointalk etc to make a decision regarding any sort of service. Takes more time, but worth it in my opinion.
